Creighton Duke
Looks like a classic case of more alternative entertainment options = less interest in CFB. Quote Link to comment

NUance
Great map! I'll bet the lighter spots in Nebr are errors due to small sample sizes. The dark red is only 30%. I have a hard time believing that anyplace in Nebr has fewer than 30% cfb fans. 1 Quote Link to comment
Moiraine
Great map! I'll bet the lighter spots in Nebr are errors due to small sample sizes. The dark red is only 30%. I have a hard time believing that anyplace in Nebr has fewer than 30% cfb fans. The problem is the population isn't the United States. They have data on the whole "population" (therefore there is no sample), but the population is just Facebook users. Also, the way they measured it is whether the person hit "like" for a football team's Facebook profile. I like a lot of things that I don't hit "like" for on Facebook. I think I like 5 bands and the Huskers and that's it. In fact sometimes I unlike the Huskers feed when I'm just not in the mood to get inundated (although I could prob. just turn that off somehow). But that doesn't mean I don't like Husker sports/football. And... does liking Nebraska Huskers even count? Maybe I only like Nebraska bowling and hate all other sports. Quote Link to comment
tschu
Oh it's horribly flawed methodology, but it's fun nonetheless Quote Link to comment
Moiraine
Ya, I wasn't saying it's not still interesting. Quote Link to comment
