HuskerfaninOkieland
It shouldn't matter what Osborne thinks of Eichorst's decision. I respect Osborne immensely, but Eichorst doesn't need Tom's approval But he should listen to Osborne's advice. Why? Because a certain field in a certain stadium is named after a certain person for a damn good reason. Do you think Florida State counsels with Bowden when they make a coaching decision? That doesn't matter. Osborne is not the AD and he's not in the administration. Osborne can give his "advice" all he wants but at the end of the day, his advice doesn't matter. Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
Haven't heard the PC yet. Will look for it online. Sounds like Eichorst was professional and very prepared. Are we still worried about him giving books to the coaches? Quote Link to comment
NUpolo8
While I'm watching the press conference, Sean Eichorst comes across as a very prepared, detailed, and calculated man. He's laying it down kind of impressively. He seems great although this is the most I've ever hear him speak but anyhow he has to make the best hire possible now. I have to give him credit for just pulling the trigger. You guys must be listening to a different press conference than I am. He seems as clueless as Stevie P. You have to work to misread a situation as badly as you have. Quote Link to comment
Bradr
Did he just say that his #1 priority are not championships. Correct. #1: Education Crazy right? Quote Link to comment
HuskerNation1
I didn't know much about SE prior to this press conference, but I am thoroughly impressed with this guy, his tone, his rational thought process, how he addressed each question, etc... It gives me great confidence that he will pick the right guy Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
I agree that TO doesn't need to me consulted on the next job. The only thing I could see is if SE was looking at Frost or Bohl or someone with a past connection to the program. Quote Link to comment
olddominionhusker
Did he just say that his #1 priority are not championships. He gave the answer any AD should give. He was asked if winning championshipsis his number 1 priority as an AD. Regardless of how he feels he can't answer yes to that. Quote Link to comment
shyndy
Hopefully eichorst can hire as well as he does a presser. What was the first question he declined to answer? I couldn't make it out Quote Link to comment
