RileyMan
Another Riley old friend...Turns out fantastic kickers/punters but not really a great return schemer. Nothing to be excited about but nothing to lose your mind over either. Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
Seems his units turn out to be in the upper half of the conference year after year. Quote Link to comment
Stumpy1
Another Riley old friend...Turns out fantastic kickers/punters but not really a great return schemer. Nothing to be excited about but nothing to lose your mind over either. We are know for punters and kickers. We also have one of the best punt returners in the nation. I bet Coach Read will have a hayday with these guys. Quote Link to comment
Thanks_Tom RR
Another Riley old friend...Turns out fantastic kickers/punters but not really a great return schemer. Nothing to be excited about but nothing to lose your mind over either. This hire is one of the least attractive ones based on things I have heard. The two knocks on this guy are that his special team units are nothing special (particularly in the return and kick-off game) and he is a poor recruiter. Hiring a special teams coach like this is kind of like having a TE coach when TE play is limited. I don't mind hiring coaches from Oregon St or Nebraska, but loyalty will only get you so far. We need to cherry pick from the two staffs while turning nationally for better coaches, as needed. Quote Link to comment
SouthLincoln Husker
I am hearing 4 coming from Oregon St. Riley said that he likes a special teams coach. I am not totally positive he is coming. Quote Link to comment

Mavric
World-Herald Big Red @OWHbigred 3m3 minutes ago Kickers and punters are people, too. So are special teams coordinators. With that, here's Bruce Read's Q&A: http://bit.ly/1FwCoKJ #Huskers Quote Link to comment
