drewalt
I was somewhat suprised to see all the 4/5 star QB's that were left on there. And that we weren't on any of their lists. Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
If that was in order, they have Bates ahead of Lee. Quote Link to comment

And that we weren't on any of their lists. nope, those guys are not looking at us, at least not yet, i am not complaining folks, just making a note (trying to figure it out?) that there would be some comfort in seeing a top rated guy show us some interest...... of course not all the top guys make it, but we damn sure offered most of them? so the coaches obviously see the talent and wanted them aboard.......so, logically, why wouldn't a talented qb want to be part of a WCO type team where he could showcase his talent? especailly given Beck is the only hearlded qb on this team, after Taylor leaves... i really wonder if this offense is sometimes too daunting to these college kids and they are attracted to coaches who allow them to grow or develop in an easier to understand venue....just speculating and wondering why this position is not more attractive? forget the mtn./beach reasons...heard that! would be interesting to really know why these guys don't see the opportunity here......the reasons would be interesting at least....... hunter Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Two things that will help with QB recruiting down the road. 1. The WCO offense starts humming and stats and wins start piling up. 2. Beck gets on the field and starts producing. Some people might want to see what NU can do with a highly touted QB like Beck. Quote Link to comment
drewalt
I could see a high school kid be intimidated by Cally and Co. I'm sure he's well respected and he's a damn good coach, but I think he runs NFL-like practices and that might be scary for some young guys. Quote Link to comment

husker rob
Is Jarret the main target that the coaches are trying to land this year? Is he the best fit for our offense? What about the Phil Simms' son Matt? I have heard that he is better now then Chris was at his age? Does any one know if NU is looking at him at all? Right now he is listing Rutgers, Mississippi, and Louisville as his favorites for God sake. Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
ok, based on what?? hunter From what the services are chatting about. One of their lead guys is quite high on him. Everything I read is quite positive on NU. Best answer I can give. Quote Link to comment

KCTown
You have to think that the unproven QB's still out there, ready to have a great senior season, will emerge and have the big schools knock down their doors. Long way to go for 07' recruiting, really is just starting. Quote Link to comment
huskerfan8
after reading on rivals lee claims that he has done reserch and likes what he sees at alabama and is hoping they extend an offer..im getting worried about this kid bc if nebraska was as good as he made it sound why does he keep claiming he is wide open? You're worried for nothing. Every site builds up their own school with a recruit. You have to, that way you will get the subscriptions. Take a look at 9 out of 10 commits anywhere. They could do an interview with another site a week before they commit, and may not even mention the school they ended up commiting too. With Lee, from the beginning he has said everyone is equal. He keeps saying everyone is equal and puts everyone on the same footing. He doesn't lead on to any of these recruiting services which was he is leaning, and it's for the better. You don't want all these outside influences pulling you one way or another. Play it close to your vest, make the most informed decision you can by looking at any and all schools and talk to your family about it. The Lee's are handling his recruitment almost perfectly, IMO.
