teachercd
I used to absolutely HATE going into the book store. Dropping that kind of money only to have them buy them back at the end of the semester for next to nothing. My daughter rents hers on line now and doesn't hardly step foot in the college book store and saves a ton of money. I am speculating that this may be a major factor in why this is closing. Book rentals and other online resources are the main reasons the traditional college bookstores are closing. Books for HS classes went from about 450 a semester to about 125 a semester because of the ability to get them online or apps. Quote Link to comment
jsneb83
I liked going to the Nebraska Bookstore to buy clothes on clearance. I mean, why pay $20 for t-shirt or $60 for a hoodie when I can wait a few months and get them half off? Quote Link to comment
HUSKER 37
Is the one facing the Union across the street to the South still there? For about 4 grueling minutes my Freshman year, I thought I killed someone on the sidewalk in front after leaving that store... Quote Link to comment
Omaha-Husker
One for the rumor mill. I was told that Nike would take a sizable chunk of the building for a store. Doesn't make a lot of sense with that Adidas contract if the university owns it now. Probably fed some BS. Quote Link to comment

ColoradoHusk
Interesting development with Suh turning the former Nebraska Bookstore property into a Nike Town store. I wonder if that signals if Nebraska will look to switch to Nike when the Adidas contract ends. 1 Quote Link to comment
