MichiganDad3
You can fire a coach in the middle of the season, and this guy beat us. http://www.hurricanesports.com/ViewA...CLID=210450744 Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Maybe that victory over Nebraska bought him an extra couple games. But I'm going to move this to Other Sports. Quote Link to comment
The Tall Texan
As they say at the BarBQ place, next in line. Quote Link to comment
Swiv3D
I think this makes it so there are already 7 coaching vacancies in fbs. A lot of the open jobs are considered more favorable than coaching at Nebraska, so we need to let the whole "fire Mike Riley now after one year" fade away. it would be unwise due to the fact any coach would be wary to come to a school that fired their coach after 1 year after firing a coach that never won less than 9 games and then you have places like south carolina, Miami, USC, and Maryland open that some people find more appealing anyways (maybe not Maryland but that's left up to individual opinion) Quote Link to comment
np_husker
I don't know where to post this, but I read this tweet from Joel Klatt just after the latest college football coach was fired and I thought it was interesting... @joelklatt: With all of the vacant coaching positions in CFB I am sure that Scott Frost will start getting some run...He is a great young coach. 1 Quote Link to comment
secretasianman
Lane Kiffin seems like a perfect fit for Miami. Quote Link to comment
gorp512
Golden single handedly laid the groundwork for the present day Temple program. He is a phenomenal recruiter and fantastic presence on campus. He could turn Rutgers around or even do great things at UCF. I don't blame him for the mess the is Miami. Quote Link to comment
