Seems like there has been a gradual shift towards the midwest over the course of a couple of decades. I think a lot of the great coaches are still from the West coast (like Cook), but he now has a Midwest-based coaching tree. Kind of like how a lot of the great college football coaches were from the Ohio/Pennsylvania area, but the speed players are in the sun belt. Quote Link to comment
