AR Husker Fan
if anyone hears anything about how the practice went, please post...... thanks, Hunter Indeed. Doesn't matter how much or how little - doesn't matter if it's "in-depth" or just quick impressions. If anyone goes to the practices, please let us know how things are going. Quote Link to comment
DaveH
From what I understand, practice went well. Glenn performed well again. All the backs did pretty well on protection and catching the ball out of the backfield. Harrison had an up and down day. Made some good throws, but struggled a bit on others. Suh and Cryer played well as well. Overall another good practice. Good to get the pads on and hit each other again. Oh and I heard that Callahan went through full stretches with the team and took some snaps when working with the o-line. This wasn't today it was yesterday. So much for devotion..... chuckd
The most encouraging thing about all the practice that I have heard so far is that the intensity has been really high. I think this says alot about the mindset of the players and coaches. They know that this can be a special year and are already playing hard even though the season doesn't start for another 5 months. Hopefully we can get through Spring injury free and let his push us into a even higher intensity Fall and have us firing on all cylinders when the season starts. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirtsguru
Man I am really liking what I am hearing about Glenn! If Lucky can step it up, or even the stud from Juco starts doing well, we will play hell on opposing teams Defenses. Quote Link to comment
Big Red Cop
Apparently Mulkey and Octavian both missed practice for some one on one bonding time. They got into it during practice, and Cally sent them packing for the day! Hey Grant, Richie is no longer with the team!! Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
damn, it is a little early for that type of stuff......hope they can work thru it hunter Quote Link to comment
Touchdown Tommie
There is nothing wrong with a little scuffle at practice. It shows the intensity. Just as long as it does not leave the field. Hopefully with the "bonding time" they are all good now. Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
agreed, but if you read Cally's comments in the Journal Star sports section today, he is trying to make a point with these 2 players.....no more Richie Incongnito routines allowed........this sounds like a personal thing between these 2 players and he has as much said it will not be tolerated.....like i said, there sure hasn't been enough practice at this point for tempers to flare..... hunter Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
I have to agree it's to early in the practice season to start this crap!!! Also it sounds like the team is going to be ready to go come first game it will be great if we can take it to USC!!! Quote Link to comment
