Is I-Back still the glamor position of Nebraska?

Recommended Posts

Any position could be a "glamour" position in this offense. Well, maybe not the linemen. They really never get talked about in that light because they don't get the ball. But certainly the QB, WR's, TE's and RB's.

I question that Dave...last year certain linemen were getting plenty of talk about them, but in the 'wrong' light. ;) I know what you're saying, though :)

This year these guys should really be able to shine, though. The offensive glamour positions can only shine when the big boys are doing their jobs :thumbs

I will probably get hammered for this by some but HuskerNHawaii comment seems to say Glenn is the MAN if the O-line cannot block because he is a capable of running through people and over people, but Lucky is the man if the line can whip the defense. Makes a lot sense to me but I'm from Maydelle. :bounce

Sorry but if he isn't the Incredible Hulk, 11 vs 1 are not good odds. :)

I think the QB could be the one position those outside of the Husker Nation focus on the most. Don't get me wrong, the I-Back has to produce in order for the WCO to thrive, but the QB is the one getting the attention these days. If Taylor throws for say, 25 TD's and 2500 yds.... he'll be the man in Lincoln.
