Trump's 7 point Drain the Swamp Plan & 100 Day Agenda

Recommended Posts

trump's "blind trust" was basically forced on him by howls from ethics watchdogs who were horrified by his 2016 claims that he wouldn't utilize such a shield between himself and his business ventures.

So he created a trust that met the thinnest of bare definitions of a blind trust, but put his son & a business partner in charge. The "trust" allowed trump to access any of the money at any time, providing zero layers of separation from trump & his holdings.

How do you support blind trusts?  Obviously my question was about the charges.

Support the idea of it being legal to put investments in a blind trust while serving instead of divesting. That could have been your question.

now that I finally know your question, I am on the side that says people should not have to divest holdings just to hold public office.  It’s unfair to the office holder and unfair to other stakeholders of those holdings.  Decision making control is a different story though and arraignments should be made

If It’s suspected Kushners have broken laws then charge them.  Doesn’t sound too hard.
