dutch91701
I like playing on Black Friday but the rivalries they've tried to give NU in the B1G feel forced. I'm not a Nebraskan so maybe the Iowa hate is real, but it doesn't seem like the same level of intensity as the NU-OU matchups had. It's like Colorado, but with less history. Partially the fault of Nebraska for not having a whole lot to play for the last game of the year, but I think Wiscy would be a better game to have that day. Although with the way Wiscy has torched us I think I want that game to be on a day with as many other high profile games as possible. Edit: I amend my previous position to also allow for Minnesota to be the last game, provided that the broken chair stays a thing. It both reminds us to be thankful for FauxPelini and provides what may or may not be a much needed laugh at the end of the season. Quote Link to comment

knapplc
The last four or five years of Black Friday games were scheduled for the Saturday after Thanksgiving and were moved after the initial schedule was released. If both schools are on board with it, the game will move. All of this freakout is preliminary. 1 Quote Link to comment

Red_Payne
Honestly; NFL own Thanksgiving Day. It would be pretty stupid to try and compete with them. I voted Black Friday, but I really don't mind Sat. but we would be competing with Real rivalries and we would be overlooked. I don't view any of the four teams as a true rival, so I don't care who we play, and I don't mind rotating. It would be kinda cool to start B1G play earlier and maybe get an old rival on Black Friday (Colo, Okla... hell, most of us dislike Tex. more than any of our current Div. rivals). Doesn't have to be every year, but would be cool to get them in two year on, two years off, etc. Quote Link to comment
mnhusker
Saturday Wis No Why: I'm usually busy on Thanksgiving or Black Friday by Sat life is good. WISC. most likely to be the best team, no rotation helps build tradition Quote Link to comment
admo
It does not matter who, or what day. I'd like to see NU play a different team, even if it was an OOC opponent. I just like the idea of seeing a rotation. Nebraska football is Thanksgiving Weekend Quote Link to comment
