Mavric Posted September 21, 2018 Share Posted September 21, 2018 Word is we were actually a ways down the path of the Liberty swap - they drop their (second) game against New Mexico State and play us on the common bye week of October 27. Liberty was even looking into lodging options for that weekend. It wasn't clear when that fell apart. Possibly there were easier (less-logistical) options after the hurricane messed up a lot of schedules. Quote Link to comment

Liberty would have asked Nebraska to pay the buy-out due to New Mexico. Quote Link to comment
