To be honest, I'm tired of each HS QB that get's recruited instantly becoming famous before he even puts on his pads. Curt Dukes, Joe Dailey, Beck, then Freeman (only if you remember those few minutes when he said he was coming here). And now I've read some over excitement about Witt. Taylor should be better, and he better. He needs to be. Ganz is unknown at this point with a great attitude and confidence. He HAS TO get valuable playing time this year. No one played until Taylor got hurt in the 10th game last year. There's no excuse good enough to understand that. I am dissappointed in Callahan for that. I like Taylor and Ganz and look forward to watching them play this year. Quote Link to comment

husker rob Posted August 10, 2006 Share Posted August 10, 2006 if you look at the games last year, NU never got enough of a lead to get someone else some playing time, and the games where NU got beat bad (MU and KU) there was no sense in burning a red shirt for that.
