I saw a couple plays of the Ravens scrimmage against the Redskins on the NFL network...saw Ross make a couple catches. I didn't watch much of it...preseason football bores me...not to mention it was a scrimmage and they didn't have a score. But hey nothing better than two of our best players from a year ago making it at the next level. (Especially one from my town...)

Very true. I was kinda hoping he would get taken by the Pats and be our next franchise RB...from my possibly biased point-of-view, he SHOULD be a Pat. He's like Corey Dillon reincarnated.

No, but I remember Fabian Washington Which team was he on?

Fabian was drafted in the first round 2 drafts ago by Oakland...took over the starting job as a rookie in week 5 last season.

Amazing that he didn't even have that huge of a career at Nebraska. It really shows how much the scouts base everything on those combines. He showed there he had a lot of speed.

BILLICK SAID THAT the starters will play about a half tonight against the Eagles, who lost to Oakland 10-6 and beat Cleveland, 20-6, in their two preseason games. Last week the starting offense played just one series and the defense two.

 

"In the second half we will just be looking to find someone that can make this team," he said.

 

He said two of his biggest surprises have been free agent running back Cory Ross and free agent cornerback Ronnie Prude.
