Too me it's just a silly question from the media to try to drum up controversy. 

 

I don't see Frost calling plays out of Whipple’s playbook, and it's not like he's installing his own offense during the halftime of a game. 

 

I'm sure there's a couple packages they've practiced from Frost's offense, but that's about it.

That really doesn’t make sense to me. Why would you run the play and not actually make a read. Are you trying to set up the defense? Just seems dumb if the DE crashes down that you’re committed to handing it off knowing it’s not going anywhere why even make it look like a read?

 

 

Osborne never ran a true triple option. Every time we handed it to the fullback was a designed call, not a read.

IMO There wasnt much difference in offense.  Those points came against a worn out defense.  

 

Frost's ego is his undoing.  Sucks to see a team fail because the headman wants all the shine 

In the "glory years", we put up a crap ton of points against worn out defenses.

 

That's kind of a point of offensive strategy
