I guess wingett averaged similar number against better competition and we didn’t offer him either. Grades may have factored in that decision though Quote Link to comment

I’ve never seen him play in person but I’d rather take a chance on a “project kid” an hour from Lincoln rather then some of the kids we have taken in the past Quote Link to comment
SouthLincoln Husker Posted March 22, 2018 Share Posted March 22, 2018 I watched a naia kid take him to the woodshed. The team had to go to a zone. The kid has a big wing span & a nice touch inside 10. Way too soft on the boards & def. I'm not against him, just saying he is not the guy to look for production for a couple years.
