  1. So once and if implemented, what would happen to the rest funding for the non-money making sports. Typically football pays the lion's share of the AD budget. If more of the football money goes to players' salaries, it seems there would be less money for other sports.
  2. Seems like I've seen that parade before .. I wonder where.. Let me think about it Oh yes I remember

  4. Knapp I hope and believe you are right. Trump needs everyone of those voters from 2020 plus more. There are so many GOPers who are fed up with what Trump has done to their party and believe he will do the same for the country if elected. I think many are coming to their senses and believe the country can tolerate bad policies of a Biden win but cannot survive a threat on democracy if Trump wins.
  5. Red and bold below: Evangelicals should be totally opposed to Trump's 'eye for an eye' approach. So many people committing spiritual suicide (besides mental suicide) is supporting this fraudster. He is such a good moral example of what leadership should look like https://nypost.com/2024/05/09/us-news/trump-hush-money-nyc-trial-live-updates-testimony-photos-more/ Witness testifies about excerpts from Trump's book on loyalty: 'DO NOT TRUST ANYONE' By Kyle Schnitzer Here are a few of the excepts that were shown to jurors about loyalty from Donald Trump's book “Think Big: Make It Happen in Business and Life": “DO NOT TRUST ANYONE.” “I used to say, 'Go out and get the best people, and trust them.' Over the years I have seen too many shenanigan, and now I say, 'Get the best people, and don't trust them.' Do not trust them because if you don’t know what you are doing, they are going to rob you blind." “I think the reason we have so many loyal people is that we reward loyalty, and everybody knows this ... People like Allen Weisselberg and Matt Calamari are great and have proven themselves over many years.” "I just can’t stomach disloyalty.” “My motto is: Always get even. When somebody screws you, screw them back in spades." Witness Tracey Menzies is now under cross-examination from Trump attorney Todd Blanche.
  6. Jamie Raskin - I have so much respect for that guy. Great response.
  7. So Florida GOP, bending over backwards to Trump, name Barron as a delegate to the GOP convention. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/barron-trump-florida-delegate-republican-national-convention-rcna151388
  8. Ok - so she can't look back and say if Pense was right or wrong because she didn't have the information he had on that day BUT she can say based on no information that she has that Pense has made the wrong decision in not endorsing Trump. She has proven once again: For MAGA GOP women, Beauty and Brains do not mix.
  9. This poll not looking so good for Biden. https://tippinsights.com/biden-and-trump-neck-and-neck-but-most-americans-think-trump-will-win-i-i-tipp-poll/ But Kennedy gets 12% of the overall vote, taking from both Biden and Trump. West and Stein, with 1% each, have little if any impact. Kennedy attracts 9% of Democrats and 7% of Republicans, but an even-larger 18% slice of the independents. As noted, while the overall appears close, there are some mitigating factors. Start with this: At over 40% of the potential total vote, those who declare themselves "Independents" are the swing vote in close elections. This could spell trouble for Biden, more than Trump. Why is this important? Independents in the last election favored Biden 54% to Trump's 41%. That has, for all intents and purposes been reversed this time around, as the I&I/TIPP data demonstrate. Trump has also made significant inroads among key traditional Democratic constituencies. African-Americans, for instance, gave 87% of their vote to Biden in 2020, compared to just 12% for Trump. But that's changed dramatically in 2024: Black voters say they favor Biden by 59%, a 28% decline from four years ago, while 15% say they back Trump, a three percentage-point gain. All told, it's a 31-point swing. Among Hispanics, Biden slammed Trump in 2020, 65% to 32%. In this month's I&I/TIPP Poll, Hispanics give just 47% support to Biden, 26% to Trump, and 13% to Kennedy.

  11. The judge in trump's back pocket just delayed the 'documents' case.... again. https://www.cnbc.com/2024/05/07/trump-classified-documents-trial-postponed-indefinitely.html A federal judge Tuesday indefinitely postponed the criminal classified documents trial of former President Donald Trump, a court filing shows. The trial on charges that Trump willfully retained classified national security records after leaving the White House and then hid them from federal authorities was scheduled to start May 20. But the new ruling from U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon vacates that date and sets a new slate of pre-trial proceedings, the latest of which is a hearing set for July 22. The ruling casts more doubt on whether Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, will face trial on the federal criminal charges prior to the Nov. 5 election. Cannon wrote in Tuesday’s court order that it “would be imprudent” to finalize a trial date “at this juncture” when various pre-trial issues have yet to be resolved. Cannon pointed to pending questions about how classified information will be handled in the high-profile trial of the former president, and “additional pretrial and trial preparations necessary to present this case to a jury.” To move forward with the trial in May would be “inconsistent with the Court’s duty to fully and fairly consider” those issues, she wrote. “The Court therefore vacates the current May 20, 2024, trial date (and associated calendar call), to be reset by separate order following resolution of the matters before the Court, consistent with Defendants’ right to due process and the public’s interest in the fair and efficient administration of justice,” Cannon ruled.
  12. And there are only a few truth tellers remaining within said party
