I highly doubt the game gets postponed, but the storm will mess with their preparation for the game, giving us another edge, not to mention that many of their players have family in the path of the storm giving them other, more important worries then just football. While this all may sound like great news for Husker fans, I do hope that you all keep this in perspective, keep their players and their families in your prayers, and cheer on both teams in the wake of a somewhat difficult situation.

I don't think we cover. This is gonna be one of those games where it feels like we're in control the whole time only to realize that we're only up 2 scores at the start of the 4th. I think we win by 17, but this S. Miss team isn't your typical first game.

You have to find some field turf to mow....to get that authentic Husker experience. My 7 yr old son plays on field turf. I go there and make shredded tire angels. Btw, my wife got him and my daughter some sweet schwag at the Estes Park husker store. Maybe huskerboard should all be doing the same thing this Wednesday night as a new pre 1st game tradition. Everyone light a red candle and drink a glass of red wine/red beer/kool aide/etc.... Suggestions? How about we all wear our red lace thongs while posting on huskerboard. I'm ashamed of some ya'll. 9-4 as best case?!?! This Nebraska team has the talent to beat anybody in this conference and almost anybody in the nation. Does that mean they will? Most definitely not. But it definitely gives that possibility as a best case scenario. Sometimes I'm happy I'm a younger Husker fan who missed out on the glory days. It allows me much better perspective then most of you. I will always hope for better, but multiple consecutive 9 win seasons is no reason to complain to the level that many of you do.

You're going to have to get there at least two hours before the doors open. That's what, noon? I'd pick up lunch to go and get there earlier if I were you. The way they set this up is, all the position groups are at big tables. They sit there while you shuffle past, getting autographs from every RB (in this case). I don't know how they set the guys up, but last year Rex was about in the middle. I usually go and just get pictures, but I couldn't get a decent shot of Rex last year. So you get through that line, and by the time you're done there, every other line is about 100 people deep. Bo's line and the other coaches is - not joking - 500 people deep. It goes from one end of the field to the other, and usually wraps back around. Good luck. And really, get there early. Get there an hour earlier than you think you need to get there. Otherwise you may not make it through the RB line. It'll be packed, this being Rex's senior year. Thanks! I'll have to talk the girlfriend into showing up that early. She's from Hawkeye country, but I've managed to turn her into a 'skers fan so I think she'll come around

I'm planning on going to Fan Day this year for the first time. I'd love to get my Burkhead jersey signed, but I have no idea how early I'd have to get there to make sure that I can get through the line to him in the hour and a half. Any advice?

Touche! It was a much better game then the final score shows. The first half was terrific. It's too bad that some very odd moments, less then stellar officiating, and mental mistakes had to kill our momentum. Though I was disappointed with the second half, I was quite pleased with most of the first. I just need to keep reminding myself of that.

Spurrier sounds like an absolute idiot, and how does Jeffries win MVP when he got kicked out of the game?!?!?! I don't care how big of an impact you make on a game, if you do something to get kicked out, you shouldn't win awards
