  1. Tunnel Walk of Shame ‏@TunnelWalkShame 2h You know what this fire needed? One minute and 44 seconds of gasoline. And Bo provides. This really, really changes things. Tunnel Walk of Shame ‏@TunnelWalkShame2h Leaving at half: sh**ty! Sitting on this tape for 2 yrs: sh**ty! Does it matter? f#*k NO. Bo confirmed people's worst fears w/ that tape. Tunnel Walk of Shame ‏@TunnelWalkShame 2h You know what audio I really want? Bo when he found out this douchebag leaked the audio today. Tunnel Walk of Shame ‏@TunnelWalkShame2h I don't fully disagree with Bo's sentiment. But the fact that he said it IN A ROOM WITH A MICROPHONE is nuts. Come on, guy.
  2. Alright, I royally screwed that up. How do you embed tweets on here?
  3. This is definitely blown out of proportion and I honestly don't blame Bo. He (assumedly) thought this was being said in private, and I would've been pissed too! But in the world of political correctness, the University simply has no choice but to do something.

It was just weird. It didn't really bug me because they were doing it even when they were losing, but I've never seen something quite like it. I wonder if there's not some meaning behind it, seeing as it was the same dance move that they were all doing.

I didn't boo, but I did sit there for most of the second half in shock watching UCLA players dance like they were at a night club. Yeah, does anyone know what was with the dancing before all of their kickoffs? It was definitely more pronounced when they were up, but they were doing it all game long, even when they were down. Really strange

I was in the 7th row right behind the north goalposts and I was surrounded by bluehairs, but during the first half, they were all standing and screaming their aged little hearts out. The place was loud. Then the 3rd quarter rolled around and they all, understandably, shut up and sat down. My buddy and I, however, kept standing and yelling like crazy, trying to get some energy in everyone around us and, by extension, the team. That is, until the lady behind us, grabbed both of our shirts, pulled us down, and angrily told us that we had to sit down. I mean, it would be one thing if she would've asked us to please sit down, but the way she did it just royally pissed me off, especially considering the way things were going in the game.
  7. This logo is all over the Husker gear at Walmart and has been for a while. So much for buying cheap 'skers gear...
  8. It honestly wasn't as bad as many are making it out to be. The DBs weren't terribly out of position most of the night; Smith was just putting the ball exactly where it needed to be. The best DBs in the world can't defend that kind of accuracy, especially when he's scrambling out of the pocket. I'm not saying they played great, but based on positioning alone (and not results), they looked much better then in the past. For what it's worth, I played Safety in college (though it was admittedly only D3), so I do know a bit about coverage.
  9. Great minds think alike.
  10. Anybody else think that fumble happened because the refs refused to call the play dead? It was darn close, but it looked like Martinez had just enough for the first, got stuck up and just kept pushing (as he should). At this point the refs should blow it dead... but they didn't. A QB sneak like that, where the QB is reaching for the 1st, is a play that's asking to get the ball stolen. Waiting to blow it dead just makes it 10 times more likely.
  11. I also learned that we should move Bell to Safety. That tackle he made on punt team was text book.
  12. I'm probably rehashing what the sunshine pumpers are saying, but this game isn't the end of the world. We fielded a young defense against an extremely difficult style offense to defend. Yes, we only won by 3, and that leaves a dirty taste in my mouth, but we were up a lot bigger and rolling before we got laxidasical and Wyoming made a run. That alone is probably responsible for 150 of their yards. The Linebackers concern me. They were non existant tonight, but the D-line was either getting held or making a push, which is much more then we can say for last year. The secondary, for the most part, wasn't out of position. Smith was just putting the ball in exactly the right place all night. We were forcing him out of the pocket and making him pass on the run and his accuracy was great. He was simply putting the ball in the perfect place. There's not much we can do about that, and I doubt many QBs we face this year can replicate it. Yes, there's a lot of work to be done, but (at least at this point), I'm not terribly concerned. The most improvement comes between games 1 and 2, and with this young of a D, we should see a lot (key word being should)
  13. Those jerseys are nasty looking (in a good way)! Let's just wear those as our alternates!
  14. I love the part about how Ameer is influencing Taylor and Newby in the same way that Rex influenced him. It seems that Rex started something great with our running backs and now it's being passed down from RB to RB. Great to see!
  15. I know I'm breaking the rules, but Friday Night Lights the tv show is, in my book, the greatest piece of football media ever created. If you haven't seen it, get on netflix and watch it. If you have seen it, get on netflix and watch it again!
  16. Grantland had a nice story on Osborne and the 84 Orange Bowl. Enjoy ya'll. http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/9439562/college-football-games-century-nebraska-miami-1984-orange-bowl
  17. I hate the Heat as much as the next guy, but that wasn't a foul...
  18. Lebron's in foul trouble? Stern clearly forgot to talk to these refs before the game...

  20. Great to see ECU picking up where we left off. This is the kind of thing we want to be copied doing again and again. From what I've read, this kid has been to ECU what Jack has been for us. He's been a part of their team for the past 2 years. It's great to see this kind of thing going on in other programs as well.
