  1. Jake Long status: "may return to camp next week", Pelini said
  2. No, a little bit better facilities instead of MUCH better. And Norman is too a college town with no major shopping malls or little entertainment. However OU campus is nicer than UNL. I lived in Lincoln from 1983 to 1993 and moved to Norman from 1993 to present.
  3. That's the fact. Oklahoma had much lower academic and IQ standards. Most OU players dumb as a rock and never participated in the weekly Q&A presser because too dumb! CoSIDA First-Team Academic All-American football selections: NU - 68 (1st...... Notre Dame is 2nd I believe) OU - 9
  4. Probably 30%. Give up 2000-3000 seats....very rough estimate. First deck upper 1/3 rows will be a weather protection area (second deck umbrella)
  5. Which is why it will never happen. Unless the idea was more suites and have them closer to the field. But just for regular seats? No way. Beg Warren Buffet. Probably change to Warren E. Buffet Stadium instead of Memorial . I.E. Gaylord Stadium (OU)
  6. Keep in mind, my dream and fantasy project
  7. Not true, in fact, just the opposite. Second deck will be vertical, not horizontal thus closer to the action. Similar to west stadium dimensions and design (less pressbox) Hey ColoradoHusk, I'm bored ....... my dream project Existing south stadium was a tinker toy construction thus fairly easy to demolished section by section. 2/3 of first deck still there after final product, only 1/3 destroyed. In fact just leave it .... NO demolished at all. Then simply build the second deck on top of first deck (vertical stacking)

  9. Cowboys +28 Over 61 First score: Wyoming 3 Huskers 0 Halftime: Huskers 31 Wyoming 10 Final: Huskers 45 Wyoming 24 Wyoming QB stats: Passing Efficiency - #11 nationwide, 330 attempts, 205 complete, 28 TD, 6 pics, 500 yds. rushing gains. Apparently semi quick thus NU D = . Legitimate game against Boise St: 24-36-0 passing; 13 carries, 68 yards rushing. Huskers got only 45 points because extended fall camp scrimmage. Whole bunch of 3rd and 4th string subs. Also, negative turnovers, again.
  10. First time I saw aerial view by inserting east stadium expansion. Excellent job ! Photoshop? Can't wait until real picture (August 31st). Next project: South Stadium two-deck expansion. North too.
  11. NO WAY !!! The lists......... 1. Bad calls 2. Turnovers 3. Meaningless penalities 4. Defense keystone cops I'm surprised my flatscreen TV survived, you know, smashed screen, tossed cans, etc. etc. , even winning Huskers Hope is a dangerous thing. Hope can drive a man insane (like me)
  12. From World Series champ to cellar, 52 wins and 66 losses, 16-1/2 behind. What's the story with that? I believe the same roster as last year. Tim Lincecum's new haircut is to blame?
  13. Opening -21.5, now -28 as of August 14th. Early Odds My prediction: Huskers 45 Cowboys 24 (-21 pts. spread)
  14. Huskers, Gophers and Hawkeyes will fight 4th place standings in Legends race . Northwestern, Michigan and MSU are much better than our Huskers .
  15. The Longest Yard, original. I like Chris Rock (caretaker) but I can't stand Adam Sandler (remake). The second favorite, Rudy. I always like real story movies. Brian's Song (1971) was third. Also, North Dallas Forty, roughly based on real story, Radio film and Junction Boys. Replacements movie was corny as hell, among the worst football movie IMO.
  16. Also my nightmare flashback time to time......Southern Mississippi 21, Huskers 17 in 2004 at Lincoln. 2004 S.Miss. was much better than 2013 S.Miss. ??
  17. Exactly. Unfortunately........ November 9th: Huskers vs. Wolverines @ Big House.....perhaps fatigue and/or let down after 11/9 game? Spartans got a bye week November 16th: Spartans vs. Huskers Also: October 5th: Illini vs. Huskers; Boilermakers got a bye week October 12th: Huskers vs. Boilermakers @ West Lafayette
  18. UCLA got a bye week just before invading Memorial Stadium. Good or bad? Bruins schedule August 31: Nevada (at Rose Bowl) September 7: Bye week September 14: Nebraska BTW, I've already saved built-in excuse if Huskers will lose against UCLA
  19. Rex against Atlanta on national TV: 9 carries, 52 yards, Avg. 5.8 yds, 0 TD, 15 yds longest, no receiving 11 yards run but called back (holding) Best IB stats by far
  20. Four years Sport management major? LOL. Real and worthy college educations are engineers, doctors, computer science, business, education teaching skills, aerospace, architects...that's about it.
  21. I vaguely remember that (trace of Alzheimer's disease) but if I remember right, this proposed plan was removable roof instead of fixed dome and vicinity of downtown Lincoln.
