Gordon ended up having a very, very good career.  His career had its ups and downs, but they way he transformed himself into an amazing left fielder and his leadership on the 2014-15 World Series teams will never been forgotten.  His homer in game 1 of the 2015 World Series set the tone for the series and helped bring a championship to KC.  His #4 deserves to be retired in KC, and will fit nicely with Brett, White, and Howser.

Man. It doesn't seem like he should be 36 years old. 

Great career. Really glad he got to win a World Series for the Royals.
