  1. The "lead" will probably swing several times based on when the polls close. Especially with California being one of the late poll closing and biggest pickup for Obama. California will likely be between 15% to 20% of Obama's total for the night so that will give him a huge "jump" when the polls close there.
  2. So let's recap. Martinez is the co-Offensive Player of the Week in the Conference, a finalist for the Player of the Week for the entire nation, but some are insisting that he couldn't possibly be the MVP for our team. Interesting.
  3. Choi started the game. Not sure why he was on the sidelines. I didn't notice. We rotate a lot of lineman. I think we consistently use 8 or 9 linemen to stay fresh and be able to run the hurry up offense. Choi has been playing less the last two or three games. Not sure if that is more confidence in Pensick or less confidence in Choi. Hopefully the former because fresh legs and more depth are a great thing.
  4. Or that there was a pretty questionable late hit that gave them four extra points. Pretty sure the B1G has it in for Sparty.
  5. Apparently no one wants to say. But there's usually one injury that causes the coaches to take away your helmet and that's what happens so it will probably be a couple day before they say much about whether he'll play or not.
  6. I was expecting the chicken or the egg. About that game, we would definitely have won. And there's no way they hold us scoreless in the second half.
  7. Because "good" QBs never have multiple INT games: Matt Barkely has four multi-INT games this year; Taylor has two Johnny Manziel has two mulit-INT games this year. Brandon Weeden had four multi-INT games last year; only got him drafted in the first round and starting as a rookie Remember when people would say "If only we had James Franklin"? 57% passer, 4 TDs, 6 INTs. Just because they're in the SEC now? Three multi-INT games last year If only we had Denard Robinson? 53%, 9 TDs, 9 INTs Braxton Miller? 4 multi-INT games this year How many more do you want?
  8. "Magic Number" (our wins plus opponent's losses) is three. As we hold the tie-breakers against Michigan and Northwestern and can get it on Iowa, we're in good shape. 3 Wins and we're in. 2 wins and a Michigan Loss (they have Ohio St. left) and we're in. Worse than that and Huskerboard will spontaneously combust.
  9. Congrats to Taylor. Perhaps after he finishes at the top of most of the record book entries he'll get a little more love.
  10. He has done almost everything perfect this year...except catch the ball. He has everything to be an amazing coverage guy. I think his problem on the long TD catch was he had too much WR in him. He was gauging the ball to catch it and run rather than knock it away.
  11. <<<< I vote Martinez. He definitely made it a lot more interesting with a couple bad plays but without his 365 total yards and 4 TDs, particularly the three long runs to score/set up TDs, I'm not sure what we would have done.
  12. I'd settle for 2-2.5 solid quarters. Baby steps.
  13. I would say about 100%. Always tickets available around the stadium.
  14. Would love to if it wasn't ahead of the TV. Someone needs to get it set up to delay the online radio to match the TV.
  15. Hopefully the first of many. Just throw him the ball and let him go to work.
  16. Would really like to see Alabama lose and KState, Oregon and possibly even ... **cough** ... Notre Dame ... **cough** win out just to listen to the "experts" complain the rest of the season about how a one-loss SEC team should be in the national championship over any of those undefeated teams. Not quite such a big deal now since a four-team playoff is already in the works but it would still make me laugh.
  17. Death Valley is tough at night - doesn't matter the opponent.
  18. I would tend to hope so as well but I thought we'd see more of that today than we did.
  19. I've only watched pieces of a couple games. They obviously got off to a pretty bad start but are playing better now. They seem to have benefited from somewhat of an easy schedule. Their best win is probably Northwestern and they needed 22 fourth-quarter points to do that (sounds familiar). Lost to Ohio St. Don't have Michigan or MSU on the schedule and haven't played Wisconsin yet. Pretty good defense, not very good offense. As I said last week and posted earlier today, I think our last five games keep getting a little easier. Wasn't sure we could get Michigan but that worked out. Thought MSU was the toughest of the last four. PSU is probably the toughest of the last three. Hopefully being back home will help get us over the top.
  20. I usually like Spielman but he didn't quite seem the same to me today. Not bad, just not as good as usual.

Explain how Stafford's late hit out of bounds comes from coaching.
  22. It was only a "tackle" in that Bell tripped over him after he ran over him. However, it was a nice job filling hard. Just deliver the shot next time.
