Calvin Jones average more yards per carry than Phillips, still holds the yards per game record (294), most touchdowns in a game (6), season leader in yards per attempt (8.33), Calvin was a team player and never complained about splitting the load with other backs. So ya, I would take Calvin over Lawrence. Marlon may have been a bit of a stretch, but I still think LP was over rated due the line and QBs he had.

Id take Ahman, Rozier and Craig over Lawrence any day. I would argue for Calvin Jones and Marlon Lucky as well (If Marlon had the Oline we had in the 90s, he would have been in the top 5).

would OSU played ND last year, over Alabama, had they been eligible? I don't see it, and they have more talent than we do. So yes, we could be left out the NC if we go undefeated.

Bobby Patrino, Chris Peterson, Gary Patterson, Mark Richt, James Franklin, Charlie Strong, Mark Hudspeth, Andy Reid (lol), Norv Tuner, Ken Wisenhunt, Scott Frost, Tom Herman, Kirby Smart, Chad Morris, just off the top of my head. But, your crazy if you think you will see a different Head Coach here in the next 3-4 years.

As someone else mentioned, watch out for Cethan Carter in the passing game - that dude has speed, hands, runs great routes, and goes for the ball (doesn't wait for it to come to him). His blocking needs some work, but he could be a monster with all the Defense's attention on our WR core this year.

Landlord, Id take Crouch for my QB. I will say that Taylors passing has improved considerably, his fumbles and decision making abilities still need attention. I also like Crouch's leadership and overall stability he provided at QB.

Taylor would win a 20yd dash, his burst speed is great - but his top speed and evasive moves aren't all that great. Crouch had great moves, top speed and a good burst of speed. Id take Crouch over Martinez.

I don't think there is any "dirty work" going on, probably a lot of promises are being thrown around that Nebraska wont guarantee. They are also using the SEC factor - while Kentucky may suck nuts, no one can flat out deny the conference doesn't hold prestige in College Football. Marrow is a great recruiter, hell as an GA he won us several battles last year (that I don't think out own staff could have done on their own). Now as a full assistant and more time to recruit - he is going to be tough to beat. WTF couldn't we fire Barney Cotton and keep Marrow?
