I think we should make this a no sit Saturday!! Teams needs to see our support right now. Someone else was saying if we win we are 5-3 and still have a couple pretty winnable games on the schedule. This is a must win if we want to get to a bowl. If worse case scenario happens it wont be from lack of support. Let's rock this place and show the recruits what Nebraska is about

I think this is great. We should look into making something like this a tradition. Playing week 0 has its advantages extra week of practice extra bye week with is huge being a conference as physical as the big 10 especially if you're a spread team. This also helps with recruiting you get to play international ever year doesnt have to always be the Ireland game. Play in London or Berlin or ever Australia. Plus it grows your brand internationally which could give us a big advantage in the future. Football certainly isn't as big internationally as basketball or baseball but maybe someday. We have always been ahead of the curve on this stuff could potentially over time give us an advantage recruiting international players. Heck let's play some games in samoa.

The best option would have been staying in the big 12. I'm not sure if going back is the best option though. It might be regardless of what anyone says. Logically it the best many of our traditional rivals are there. Recruiting wise our closest location to a major pipeline is Texas, and lucky for us it's the biggest. Our system doesnt work as well in the big 10 with as physical as it. Even ohio state I feel like has struggled with it the past few years and is a big reason they didn't make the playoffs a couple times. They are much more physical then we are too. I think we can get close to that level maybe even be more physical but it will be tough to go through the gauntlet of physical teams in the big 10 and the west I think is even more physical. Might need to really take hard look at our scheme if we want to stay. Frost has a plan but still. I think if we stay we really should go back to 8 conference games 9 is to much especially adding a championship game to that. Playing in 0 week is also something that I think helps extra practice extra bye week. Would be cool if that became a tradition. But I dont buy the argument about money. It's a bubble waiting to burst if you do your homework.

I agree we just need to be patient. I dont think we have any real choice we have been a revolving door for head coaches as of late. Hopefully this staff can figure it out and I think they can.
