  2. No, she actually got to GI the year after I left. I heard that she was a trainwreck though.
  3. This is 100% accurate. I left my last teaching job in Grand Island because the administration was tough to work for. I have taught for 23 years now and I've had some good and some bad, but I would say I definitely left jobs because of bosses. I am really hoping this whole Trev thing is a ploy to get more money, but it sounds like he is probably gone.
  4. This makes no sense to me. Without looking it up, is Trev from Texas?
  5. I would say, as of right now, our toughest road game remaining would be @Indiana or @Northwestern. Both of those games could be losses if we don't come out with some intensity.
  6. Our record right now is 16-7. We have 8 games remaining before the Big 10 tournament. 4 home games and 4 road games. @Northwestern vs Michigan vs Penn State @Indiana vs Minnesota @Ohio State vs Rutgers @Michigan I see the 4 home games being very winnable with the way we seem to play at home. The away games I would like to think we could win 1 or 2 of those, but who knows with how we play on the road. If we happen to win 2 or those road games and win each home game that makes us 22-9 heading in to the Big 10 Tournament. If we could win one or more games in the tournament, I see us being in. The way we played Illinois on the road last night has me thinking we could win any one of our remaining road games.

  8. I just need Michigan to beat Villanova in the Sweet 16 and then score a bunch of points against Arizona or Houston in the Elite 8. I've got a chance!
  9. #1 - Gonzaga (1) #2-#4 - Kentucky (2) #2-#4 - Auburn (2) #5-#8 - Iowa (5) #5-#8 - Houston (5) #9-#12 - Michigan (11) #9-#12 - Indiana (12) #13-#16 - Bryant (16) #13-#16 - Texas Southern (16)
  10. I remember being very nervous when we won in '95 against Miami. For some reason, I wasn't nervous at all against Florida. I remember thinking we just knew we were going to beat them.
  11. I think you should all take the Dwight Schrute philosophy on tipping: Dwight Schrute: Why tip someone for a job I'm capable of doing myself? I can deliver food, I can drive a taxi, I can and do cut my own hair. I did, however, tip my urologist. Because I am unable to pulverize my own kidney stones.
  12. I would love to see Nebraska vs Penn State as an annual game. They have had more success than we have in the last 5 years, but I would say that we are very comparable programs. I had a friend that used to live in State College and I loved visiting the campus. I think, hope, Scott Frost will get us back to where we can compete with Penn State on a regular basis.
  13. We might end up doing that. Thanks, I'll have to try that. The boys are excited to go to the game so they'll probably be walking faster than me.
  14. I'm going to the game with my 10 year old and a friend of his and I'm coming from Broken Bow. Does anyone know the best place for us to park that's a decent walk to the stadium?
  15. That was a very nice gesture. He must be a well liked teacher. Kudos to your daughter and her friends for helping to make his day better.
  16. I live in Broken Bow and they have been spotted by people every night for the last 3 or 4 nights that I know of, maybe more.
  17. True. You all do realize that I'm not a Trump fan right?
  18. He doesn't have the authority to do that, but he does have the authority to change an R to a D. Sorry, couldn't resist. Last time I will comment on this.
  19. I stated it once, but I'll say it again, I thought this thread was all about hypothetical. I seem to have struck a nerve with my hypothetical situation. I'm not talking about you on that one. I know that politics isn't a team sport, but Trump doesn't follow rules. He seems to do whatever he wants to, so it would be in his wheelhouse to pull that stunt.
  20. I thought that was the point of this whole thread. Hypothetical of what it would look like if Trump won a second term. It's not dumb at all. It would be perfectly in line with something Trump would do. It would hit a nerve with the Dems and get a rise out of them just like Trump would like. Do you think he really cares about doing himself good politically?
  21. If this is in reference to me, it's not how I perceive things it's how politicians are. My comment started with stating that I think it would be funny if Trump changed his affiliation to Democrat and that seemed to hit a nerve with some people. I just said that it seems like something he would do.
