    I'm gonna be brutally honest. These kids have private tutors and some of these kids are in joke classes. How does one not get good grades here?

    Plain and simple we need more talent up front. Interior 3 didn't cut it this year. Gates was solid and Lewis was decent.

    That's the thing here. We don't have much. AJ Bush is Still a work in progress, Darlington lacks a solid arm and injury issues are a threat, and then we have Fyfe who threw four picks against Purdue. Tommy is the only option we have to score on a consistent basis but hasn't seemed to improve much outside of some long plays. We need a talent upgrade.

    What makes you say that? People on that other site are referring to a pay article that makes it sound like he's coming to Nebraska. Does Nebraska not accept Friday commitments or something? Would gladly eat my words. Call me out if I'm wrong. I just have a bad feeling after his visit to Texass.

    I've heard talk of Goode's ability to be that guy for us. Also heard he's a backup for Reese/Laguins. considering Reese is a Texas lock and Laguins seems pretty far reaching too it might just happen that we get Goode.

    Personally, if Hank Hughes misses on all his targets this cycle he shouldn't return. Hell I could have coached two NFL caliber DTs. Sure as hell didn't do much with the DEs.

    I believe that is what myself and swmohusker were alluding too. It's nice to be in the running, but it doesn't matter if we don't close. I'm sure if we lose out we'll get another "diamond in the rough"
