    Eh it seems like he's been our best defensive back FWIW. I think he's been great at run stopping. Not as good as last year though Gerry in the open field has been..bad to say the least. Also that isn't hard to do when your DBs are as awful as ours.

    Which two are you giving them? If it's stopping the run, I'd argue teams don't bother because they don't need to. I'm just saying as of now, they've stopped the run. I'd also say Tommy is playing better and made throws this year that weren't possible for him just a season ago..

    I expected a team that could stop the run, play good special teams, and better utilize Tommy Armstrong and his abilities. I'd give them 2/3 of those just never expected we'd regress so much in so many areas..

    I'm curious (if anybody has the statistics), how many deaths last year by guns were a direct result of violent gun crimes involving gangs compared to school shootings.

    I think it's worth noting that most gun crimes are committed with pistols, not assault rifles. Very easy to conceal a pistol compared to your standard AR.

    If Nebraska forces stave to throw, then we have a chance. Wisconsin running backs looked pretty meh last game as well.
