I'd rather see Armstrong get plays if he's the clear number 2. If Martinez would go down and Armstrong does give us the best chance to win then I say him having experience is crucial.

If MSU is 0-9 going into the Nebraska game, the Huskers better treat it like they're 9-0. Prepare for the team, not the team's record. I was just stating that we'll know if they were over-rated or not by the time MSU plays Nebraska. If they are 0-9 then I think it's fair to say they were over-rated at the beginning of the season. But I agree we can't treat MSU lightly regardless of their record.

Can't take Michigan St. lightly. A little over-rated? Sure. Maybe. At this point it doesn't matter. We'll know more once that game comes around. Nebraska needs to take care of themselves first.

I'm not sold on Fischer. The guy is smart, but from the time he's been here he's not a huge play maker. I'd like to see Santos or even Rose step up into his role. With that said, if Fischer proves me wrong I'd be happy to admit I'm wrong.

Because the same internet genius crowd that demanded we fire Frank/Bo for "only" going 10 - 3 (bringing in the glorious Callahan era) now demands a new sacrifice as a token to their overwhelming, infallible judgement. Lets not compare apples to oranges here. Letting Bo go compared to letting Barney go are not the same.

I won't give you that "because we're Nebraska" speech or anything for a reason, but we can do better than Barney because simply he is an okay coach at best. I do find it interesting that we've had a new head position coach at every position at least once since Bo's been here, except... Offensive Line. Who knows what that means about Barney. Maybe that means nothing, but 5 years later Barney shuffles more players around on the offensive line than a deck of cards. IMO we shouldn't be shuffling OT's and Guards and Centers around to different spots as much as we do. But that's only one other reason.

Outside perspective? The BTN isn't going to trash Nebraska's team.... They are there to pump your ass full of sunshine, and optimism.... AND I APPRECIATE IT!! This ^

I'm not sure what more Bo will say. I suspect things will play out like this: Media: What can you tell us about Tyler Moore leaving? Bo: Nothing. Next question Bo: Tyler is no longer on the team. Media: What is the reason for Moore's departure from the team? Bo: Personal differences. Media: Is that..(Bo interupts) Bo: Look Tyler's no longer on the team. We have a culture around here and Tyler feels he's better somewhere else. I wish him luck. Next question. That's my guess how it will go. I'm sure Bo is not going to want to talk about it.

I've heard Givens-Price has been showing promise on the line this year. Any merit to that? And are we putting Reeves at guard now or keeping him at center?

This stadium is going to look gorgeous when done. And I thought it was gorgeous before. It is beautiful isn't it..... It actually made me feel a hair better with all this Tyler Moore stuff going on now.

You know for those kids that get home sick and leave because of that... no mental toughness. But, if this a Barney Cotton issue it's going to be a long season for Barney.. absolutely no room for error on his part.

Barney should have been fired a long time ago. Our OL play has been horrendous for years I believe a lot of people agree with you. I agree with you. But since he's still our O-line coach, Barney may be creating a legacy from this for himself... in a worse way than he already has with past o-line play under him.
