Can someone please explain the theory around how this is coached now? I can’t remember the last time I saw a player pivot to shield the defender away and look for the ball like we were coached to do. A little thing that drives me crazy watching basketball now days.

Didn’t say I was going to defend the tax cuts. Just stating the fact that wages are increasing faster. Wages are are increasing faster because we are at extremely low unemployment and most segments of the economy are doing well. When those two things happen, wages go up. We startred building to this point in 2009. now, if the economy stays strong, wages will continue to go up and increased rates. If not, it will flatten out. Ive said from the beginning that we should have saved tax cuts till when they are actually needed. Not now.

That's why it's important for the Feds to keep inflation down....and it pisses off Trump whose an idiot. Both peaks are at 3.9 and are the highest since 08.

Hmmm....according to your own chart, wages are now rising faster than pretty much any time since November of 08. They started rising again in February 2018.

Again, I'm not a big proponent of the entire theory of "trickle down economics". However, wages for lower and middle class families are rising faster now than they have prior to the tax cuts. And....the stock market really doesn't have anything to do with lower income people.

I'm not a promoter of trickle down economics mainly because it's not a theory that is the end all be all for every situation. However, what's happening right now in the stock market has very little to do with the theory.

Are you sure it's the 7th? I think that's the first day of classes, but I've experienced that you can register for classes up to a week after they start.

This. Yes, the stock market was due for a period of pulling back or no rise. What you hope is that it's a soft landing. My biggest problem with his over zealous actions and rhetoric that drove the stock market up so fast after his election is that it creates an environment where that "soft landing" is much harder to accomplish. Right now, we are somewhere around 8-9% down on the year and around 14% from the highs. The blubbering idiots actions aren't doing anything to ease that fall and turn it around.

OK....I typically don't watch high light videos because I think they usually don't really represent how a player plays every down. But, I've seen enough comments on the video of this kid, I decided to watch. Impressive. At first, I had the thought that....well....he's not being blocked. But, then I noticed, many times they are trying to block him but his speed and quickness, makes them totally whiff. That, with his size, would be a nice addition.

I don't know about 2019 compared to 2018. However, I am pretty dang confident that the top players in both 2018 and 2019, will out perform the top players in the previous 10 classes. THAT is a direct result of the staff and the culture they are building. That is a huge part of what I'm excited about. Way too often we have had our top players flame out and not contribute. I feel that won't happen nearly as often. I believe once top recruits start seeing that happen, we will start getting more of those top recruits and we will see a jump in our class rankings. We desperately can use a good season next year to keep building excitement around the program.

I actually like Nebraska weather....other than January and February. There is nothing good about either of those months.
