This was the worst year I can remember for weather on game days in Lincoln. That played a factor in several game’s attendance.

I’m close to this with my father. I won't be doing it. I’m friends with the chief of police and he has handled this many times. When the time comes, the county will require him to do a driving test....for which, he will fail.....done.

A kid like this is a reason why the early signing period helps coaches. If he signs in December, everyone will know his final decision and can plan accordingly to fill out the class.

It would be interesting to know which of those plan to sign in December.

I’ve always said a kid needs to live his own life. Make decisions on what he wants.....don’t do something just because the family wants him to.

But, please make sure you academically can get in first.

I'm not sure why there has to be certain sides to this in economics. There are times when government spending is a stimulus. There are times to cut government spending. There are times to raise taxes. There are times to lower taxes. These issues, to me, are no different than the feds deciding when it's good to raise interest rates or lower them. One isn't bad and the other one good. The situation dictates what needs done.

I would have no problem going to Baylor for academics. Football???? I'd go somewhere else.

This is pretty misleading. Running was TMart's strength. We then tried our best to have pocket passers as QBs....especially from 2014 - 2017. I don't think 2AM ran too much this year. I thought it was a very good mix of the passing game and creativity in the running game. I'm also not too concerned about WR and RB depth. These coaches have proven they can develop depth and players. Just because we haven't seen a player on the field, doesn't mean they aren't going to step up and contribute in the future.

I think I'm going to make Philly cheese steak sandwiches with the leftovers from a venison sirloin I cooked over the weekend (absolutely delicious).....peppers, onions and provolone. Fresh baked baguette. edit: Yep....it was mighty tasty.

And, as I've always said, if the family has a strong opinion, they should make it well known and the kid should always listen to them instead of doing what's in his heart.

It was a dream trip for me. It was actually one that I would go on all by myself if the family didn't want to go. But, I'm perfectly fine doing things like that by myself. I'm weird like that. Being a novice on this type of camping is intimidating, but, the place we rented from was a huge help and they are used to working with novices. We learned from this one and, if we do it again, some things would be done a little different.

That all sounds good....but.....sometimes that doesn't work out very well. Got a little experience with that.

I really hope he is getting his life straightened out.

Is Day the permanent replacement or interim? I think this is good for any other team in the conference. It’s extremely difficult to follow a coach with this kind of success. The conference needs tge the best coaches possible. Time for Frost to take his spot at the top.

Sometime you just gotta sit back and listen to this guy.

Or....they have room on the roster so they want both to guarantee quality depth.
