I know this isn't a 2018 recruit, but, it's an interesting situation I thought about this morning. Jared Bubak left Nebraska and went to ASU because he wasn't comfortable with the last coaching staff. Since then, both ASU and Nebraska are having a coaching change. Nebraska has all the momentum while ASU hired.....well.....ummmm........anyway. I'm not sure of his playing status and if he has a redshirt year or not. He also seems like he has the body type Frost is after in this class. Would he transfer home?

I never have understood why there isn't when you think about how integral they are to the success of the team. There is a huge difference between a good kicker and a bad kicker. So, it should be relatively easy to rate them.

I'm very disappointed there is a discussion about Diaco in a thread about our new DC. Disco was a complete failure. Let's move on.

The ONLY (and I emphasize "only") thing that's frustrating for me. This was always going to be my first year as a season ticket holder. I'll have all three kids at UNL for the next 4 years. Heck, I should get free season tickets at club level for that. Anyway....looks like it's going to be driving down and buying tickets off the street for us every week. Then, I have to go through the whole....convince my wife we should go to the game....every stinking week. Then, either the game will be not a big enough game or the tickets will be too expensive. Hiring Frost sucks.

I agree with Blitz's post. But, yes....this rule change is HUGE for Nebraska. I am excited to see what Frost can do this summer....especially if he can get through February signing day with some momentum. When Riley was hired the same year Michigan hired Harbaugh, all we heard was how Michigan had the splash hire that jumpstarted all of their recruiting. They instantly had legitimacy nationally. Now, Riley did pretty good getting top recruit's attention because he worked his ass off. He signed some and not others. The results on the field are obviously not in his favor. BUT...on the recruiting trail, he worked hard to change the perspective of Nebraska. NOW....WE have the splash hire. We have that momentum and recruiting should be exciting to watch over the next 12 months.

So...glancing through the fine print on this. As a first time season ticket purchaser, I would put down $100 per seat and then in May, I would use Seat Yourself to pick my seat and how much I want to spend/donate?

I did a quick google search and everything was coming up for 2015, 2016 or 2017. So...question. When is the process started to buy season tickets? Is there a link I'm not finding for 2018?

Who knows what this kid is thinking and what is going on behind the scenes. Not saying this is the situation here, because I don't know. But.....some kids love the drama of signing day. He very well could have already told the OSU coaching staff he is signing with them and just keeping in secret to add to the drama.

The practice issue is so, so, SO important to the development of these kids. A walk-on isn't going to develop and prove what he can do by watching everyone else practice.

I'm sure the guy is very smart and very good at what he has been doing since graduating from UVA. I'm sure he will be very successful at what he ends up doing. He just doesn't have any of the work experience needed for this job. He clearly was nominated because of something other than....actually having experience working within the system he would be a federal judge in.

I learned a lot about what the issue is (what the administration is arguing) with the emails.

Oh...that’s where your idea completely falls apart. A chemistry student doesn’t have a team of ten coaches and 100 other players relying on him as a team mate. So, according to you, a player on one team should be able to jump ship in the middle of the season to another. If Alabama loses an RB to injury, they could’ve talked Ameer to switch teams in October. I would have absolutely no desire to get emotionally invested as a fan. Hey, it would free up more time in the fall. Sorry, your idea is idiotic.
