There is something seriously wrong when a player's career lasts longer than a stadium.

Gotta say....All of a sudden yesterday I got really nervous about the post season. Now, that big lead we built in winning percentage only means that we have home field advantage. Not much more than that.

Let me guess: Neither of you keep the heart and liver from the deer you shoot, either. The only thing any liver is good for is catfish bait. I have saved the heart and eaten it. It's pretty good.

I see absolutely no reason for us not to be where we are at at this point in the season. This is just a snap shot of the season at this point. We are undefeated so no reason to not be where we are at. Now...by the end of the season, there is a good chance we will end up lower. What would be very good is if we are a mid top 10 team going into Wisconsin and pull of the win. We then go into OSU very possibly a top 5 team and if we lose (which most are predicting) we probably won't drop that much. Maryland is starting to concern me a little. We can beat them but it's not going to be easy. We SHOULD beat Iowa. Then, at the end of the season we are well in the playoff discussion before the CCG. If we are sitting at barely in the top 25 like many here want us to be....that scenario has a much lower chance of playing out.

Here's another way of looking at it. He lost 916,000,000 and they claim he then didn't pay taxes for 18 years. So, if he used that loss over 18 years, that means he deducted basically 51,000,000 per year from income. Well...51,000,000 is one hell of a lot of money. But, he acts like he makes one hell of a lot more than that.

That is very interesting. One part of social media that I have been very frustrated at and find it interesting at the same time is the very very VERY obvious fake stories that get passed around Facebook...etc. Right wingers just LOVE to pass these around. Also the emails that get sent and resent and if someone would just stop and actually think about it....they would realize it's stupid. I always wondered...who makes these or writes the fake news articles. Hmmm...maybe it's the Russians and right wingers are just easy prey.

I wonder how much Iowa is loving that new 32 mill buy out Ferentz has.

Again...the rule is not a bad thing and he isn't a tax cheat for taking advantage of it.

So....we out coached Oregon. Coaches are part of the team. We have lost because of this in the past. Now are winning because of it.

This seems to be the latest big issue the Democrats are trying to blow up. Now......I know it's strange that I would be defending the village idiot. But, this is a normal accounting practice and almost any business that has been in business long enough has used it. If you lose money one year, you can deduct those losses from future profits for tax purposes. I fully support this rule being in the code. However, I thought there was a limit on time you had to use the losses. Oh well....I'm not a CPA. That said, the biggest joke in all of this is that on the radio this morning driving to work, I heard one of his surrogates claiming this is evidence of his genius business man brain at work. WTF???? So, now they are claiming if he loses close to a Billion $$$ it's just him being a genius???? Wow....Next year I need to work hard for my business to lose money...because that's what genius's do. And...don't give me the loss-carry-forwards were evidence of him being a genius. Any 22 year old out of college with an accounting degree knows how to do that.

And that's really strange when we only had 10 points going into the 4th....even with 2 turnovers.

Wait....I haven't heard anything about this other than this thread. But, he has constantly trashed hillary because she stuck behind her husband when he cheated on her. Now...he is trashing her because she wasn't loyal to him???? All from the guy who cheated on three wives and claimed he would like to sleep with his daughter. Interesting.

And....he's almost up to 58% completion rate.

The most our D has given up is 17 other than oregon and we so far have kept them to their lowest point total. I expect at some point us to give up more points. But, so far so good.

I think he actually has a point but I don't feel sorry for Wisconsin. The Big Ten is failing the conference in their scheduling with out uneven the scheduling is. When you have a schedule like what we have this yer and then go into 2018 with that schedule....why not even it out a little. It's crazy the way this conference is doing this.

I think we have to really pump the brakes on the overall percentages. Those numbers are hard for us to interpret properly, as we're talking about scant percentage point swings in key states -- but then it's +30 electoral in one column, -30 in the other, and so on. Of course that's true. But, it still means more than just looking at the national polls.

I always took this as a badge of pride that we got put on probation for handing out too many text books.

I think this is very important because no matter who wins, the President is probably going to be impeached in the first year by the Republicans.
