If one game made the difference, he was not that high on us to begin with. What teams got completely embarrassed on national television last weekend? You don't think this sticks in kids heads? Urban and Saban will love nothing more than to make sure any guys we share on the recruiting front hear about it over and over again. He was a very heavy NU lean and was told several times it would be coming very soon on regards to him pulling the trigger. Odd how teams with top 10 classes almost always directly correlate to top 10 finishes....but yeah stars etc don't matter. The stars etc can be off here and there but more often than not they are very accurate. Also note that these "offers" our players had were reported by them. I know for a fact some are not offers that they can commit too. Look I understand we want to polish the overall effort of Pelini and his staff on the recruiting front. Unfortunately he loves to lay a turd during the season while others are finishing up their classes. We usually get these recruits after the big boys filled there's up and got the top guys on their boards.

Classes were average 2011 looks great on paper but many of the big names from that class.left the program.

Yeah he only neglected the life blood of the program for 3 years....glad it only cost 7 million dollars for him to learn this. Bo failed at recruiting adequate talent to replace what he had inherited from Callahan. Regardless of what people think of his recruiting classes they are his. The overall class ranking is no better than before as well. We get happy reports of the freshman every year. We will get a few solid players out of the group as usual.

I Saw this. This is a near five star kid Coach Rhodes is getting. He may just be the to WR in the Midwest next fall. To bad family connection to the school won out. Living in The same town as the kid I am more than happy to give him a briefcase full of your contributions haha and of course wear my husker red! Haha

The best way for this commitment to stick for Wisky is by hiring Paul Chryst, which is not that far fetched. Not only was he Wisky's offensive coordinator before taking the Pitt job, but he was high on Corey from the get go. Would not be shocked one bit if this is the route Alvarez goes with. I thought Chryst has like a 17-18 mil buyout? Or something crazy like that

Beck is still learning to be an OC. He has tons of potential and promise. He is also our best recruiter. Problem is Bo doesn't put emphasis on his coordinators recruiting. Also doesn't help that you have terrible OL coaching to try to help..

Ohhhh... you're new here. haha well I've been lurking in the shadows for quite some time so I have seen it quite a bit. I guess I meant that I don't see why people are marking down UCLA, MICH, and NW as wins at this point. Only wins I am chalking up are Wyoming. Iowa, FCScrubs, southern miss, Minny. We got a decades worth of breaks this season. I don't see us pulling off 6 wins to close out the regular season again. UNLESS we land several solid JUCOs...and that is looking bad currently

He actually was after he fired Callahan and even did some recruiting visits throughout the state. I'm actually coming around to the Saban idea. Of course, it be our luck that we get Miami Dolphin Saban. We have toms only recruit on our roster....never plays and is passed up by walk ons and freshman yearly

Bo is welcome to interview whoever he pleases. If he for example wanted an OC and DC with solid resumes the AD would open the wallet. Bo prefers his buddies that he has for the most part years of experience on....Bo started coaching college ball in 2003...and is a veteran coach on our staff. He seems to shy away from coaches that know a thing or ten

Solidly loyal to the program? Beck is looking for a HC gig and Pap doesn't do anything but signal in the plays. In all honesty we could can all of our ACs and upgrade easily. We opened the wallet for eichorst time to do it for the money maker.

May I ask what would make you happy as a Husker Fan? 1) a HC that understands he is only as strong as his weakest link in regards to his staff. 2) a coach that hires based on credentials and not previous relationships. We already missed on a very very good OC when we decided to promote Beck. 3) a HC that holds his assistants accountable for recruiting. If they slack they can go to the MAC. 4) a HC that can adapt on the fly and motivate players. More than "us against the world" 5) a coach that is personable to fans and media and is up to date with technology. (In recruiting you now have to understand the social media machine) Those are five things just to name a few. Oh and a coach that doesn't float his name out every year about other positions. Bo's agent loves it

That 6 game win stretch was the luckiest football team in America. We deserved it based on the years of getting the other end. But to have it all cash in week after week was amazing. I have to imagine we won't get lucky 6 in a row next season

Bo is a middle of the pack coach in the B1G. He also has the most inexperienced staff....that doesn't sound like a tier 1 college football program. Urban and Hoke will continue to create an overall gap in talent and staff from the rest of us. Oh well we can clutter the shelves with runner up trophies

We will finish unranked and 10-4 this season most likely....10 wins doesn't mean much if you aren't even a top 25 team. Seems like When we were always winning our "9" games a year we were still a top 15 mostly 10 team....How times have changed

I would say Saban is worth it....instead of making 3 CCG appearance losses every 5 years we can trade it in for 3 NC wins every 5...
