If I were a kicker I'd be entirely against this. If you spend years and years practicing to have the ball have as much hang time and land as close to the one yard line, that is a money making skill the NFL looks for. The rule making committee sure tries to bend over backwards to make it seem like they are all for player safety. What they are doing is chipping away at the game until there is no more game left.

If/when Keith Williams gets a job elsewhere again I'd be willing to bet at least a couple of guys he recruited here would look for his postal code. To his credit, KW had a pedigree on/off the field that resonates with a lot of young guys. Tyjon thought that's what he signed up for. If he sticks it out he could showcase the all-world talent we know he had when he came here.

It's understandable how most on here are trying to temper expectations after a couple decades of mediocrity. One thing is for certain. SF and his cohorts are good at proving people wrong and doing the seemingly "impossible". We might not win all of our games but they will be much closer and more competitive than the eyesores of previous seasons.

Has a nasty bull rush in his hudl film and great pursuit. Keep that California pipeline open!

Hate to say it but Riley was worse. More than half the games during his tenure after the first series, you would find yourself saying "It's gonna be a long day." I consider us very fortunate to be in the situation we are in now.

Over the past decade we seemed to have swapped a great defense and a laughable offense for an okay offense and a tissue defense. This game was particularly hard to watch.

It showed. They had the athletic ability to get it done but were constantly out of position and one step behind. 56 guys on the UCF team this year were 0-12 two years ago. Unified purpose and a cohesive staff makes all the difference in the world.

Seeing as Gebbia set passing records in California, and was far from being a statue back there. Yeah, I'd say he is more mobile than people give him credit for. The shelf is not bare and all three quarterbacks COULD succeed in this offense.

It can be tough to express yourself when you see what is going to be plastering your backfield for the next 3-4 years.
