  1. I'd hate to be a "it's the coaches fault!!!" guy, but the PR scheme is not working. I know it is focused towards having a good return, but the alignments and blocking assignments just plain aren't working. Also, the fact that we have never shown to rush the punter is allowing the punter to hold the ball for just a few split seconds longer. This not only allows their guys to get further down field, but also allows for the punter to focus on getting a better technique. So his hang time is probably at his best when playing us. I am not a coach, nor do I know what is best. But I can tell you from what I see, we simply allow the punter to do his job to perfection. I understand the concept of how we play our PR, and theoretically it would work. It allows for more blockers and also plays well against any potential fakes. But we need to "attack" more. Atleast a little bit. The way we play it now, the returnman is constantly needing to fair catch it or risk losing yards due to just the allowance of the punter to play unrushed (which apparently "unrushed" is not a word... haha!). Is it the returnman? I honestly don't think so. I think anyone back there would be nervous considering how consistently close an opposing player is after every PR. Just my two cents. I don't know if there are any other issues on ST's. Obviously, our punter could be better at times, but considering he was a WR until recently, I am not extremely concerned. It's just we lose so much on the PR's specifically in the field position game.
  2. Agreed. I think everyone saw a team with heart. I know we all would've loved a win, but considering the injuries, the turnovers, and the youth we have. We were in it. Always a pleasure to cheer on those kids, although sometimes it is harder than others, I will always be proud of them and am certainly looking forward to the future. GBR!
  3. I'd love to see us play in the game! You kidding? What a joke that this is even a conversation! Would we get destroyed by OSU? Possibly! But I'll tell you what, I'd love to be there to watch and support my Huskers!
  4. My two cents are that he is not reading the field at all. Beck said it perfectly when he said he isn't "seeing the field" very well. It's true. There are certain situations where he reads it well, or makes a good decision, but he has his bad moments too. I think it was obvious when he was. Hell, even a good play was a bad decision. When Enunwa made that excellent catch between DB's. Great catch! But TA had Cethan Carter completely wide open in the middle, and he threw into double coverage. The defense played a lot of zone coverages. Some QB's throw well against (Zac Taylor and Joe Ganz threw excellent against those types of coverages, and TM throws pretty well against them too). So, in conclusion, he just is not seeing the field well, and when he is hurried, he just hurls it at the first guy he sees. Freshmen mistakes, he knows he has to clean them up. The last one, he didn't even see the LB and he just threw the ball out there. It sometimes takes a bit for guys to know where everyone is. A lot of studying and understanding coverage concepts (and route concepts for his WR's). Something that he is struggling with and will struggle with. He'll learn those concepts and how they work against certain plays and such. Right now, you can tell they are just trying to get him to just run the offense. It's hard to teach all this at once to someone who was a natural talent in HS. With that being said, the team seems to play extremely well with him as QB. The defense plays lights out when he makes mistakes. The WR's catch balls (ie. Enunwa must catch into double coverage). The RB's makes plays. This isn't about his ability, but the team in general has a "we need to play well for this kid" mentality or something. For that reason alone, there's upside to the kid. He's thrown 3 picks in each of the two games he started. Both W's. I am not saying it is because of him directly, but somehow, the mentality of the team is better. Maybe the game plan is better for them. The linemen love to run the ball, so a more run-oriented game plan might just pump them up more than the game plans for TM with a more pass happy approach (the one against Minn).
  5. I have to say, I was one of (and still am) one of Martinez's defenders. After all his comebacks last year, I was talking about how CLUTCH he was and during those games, at those moments, against those opponents, I wouldn't trade him for any other QB. Now, realize that it was a hyperbole, yes, there's plenty of QB's better than him, but with that team last year, he just clicked when he needed to. This year is a completely different story. And I have to say it is not even about him. Sure he has played injured and all and hasn't quite played 100% pretty much all year. I can say with full confidence that the losses we have had this year are not even close to Martinez's fault. Having said that, the TEAM seems to pick it up big time while Tommy and RKIII are playing. Now, I am not saying they are better leaders or better players. I could say that Tommy has the edge on talent, but he is still very raw, as we saw against Purdue. But for those games, the whole team seemed to play better. Yeah sure, it was Illinois, Purdue and SDSU, but still, I think we should have had a similar game against Minnesota as we did those three listed. Hell, I think Illinois is the better team than Minn. Regardless, we got beat up front. I think that the team has the mentality of "Tommy is a young kid! Better play well today for him in case this young kid makes a mistake!" So they do. I am not saying that they don't play hard for Martinez. If anything, I think because of last year they probably have some thoughts of "Taylor can get us out of it! He did it last year!" It's a mental thing, and probably dumb. I am not saying Tommy is better than Taylor. Even though he has the edge on talent, he is still raw. I just think that the team plays with a harder edge because he is so young. They have more fight. It might be the play calling, the guys up front like a game plan with a power running attack, they probably get extra pumped just because the game plan calls for lots of running. So in conclusion, I don't think Taylor Martinez is the problem at all. I just think the team plays with a harder edge with Tommy. The whole team. They just seem to have more fight. I mean, hell, 3 picks in one game is extremely costly, against ANY opponent. but the team overall played better.
  6. Lincoln Arrowhead Cotton Bowl New Question! Which was the best stadium you have seen us play? Excluding Memorial Stadium of course. You know, for atmosphere, sightlines, concourses... Any reason really. Arrowhead was excellent! I have seen us play there twice, the last time was in the Big XII championship game vs. OU. Cold, and we lost, but the other game was in 98 (might want to check that year) vs. OKST. The stadium can be loud! Not that Memorial Stadium can't be, but there is something about those acoustics there that make that stadium particularly loud. Plus, the place exploded when we made that final tackle to seal that game at the end. Cotton Bowl is JUNK! Atleast it was when we played Auburn. Concourses were pretty much non-existent, and the seats were old and wooden. I know they updated it, but there's a reason that the Cotton Bowl is no longer played there...
  7. -1000 for me. That was a dick move on my part to blame the HS coaches. I wasn't trying to say that, even though I directly said that. After reading my post, I regret writing that. I have a lot of respect for HS coaches, my brother in law is a HS coach and I love his passion for the game and especially for the kids. So sorry that you took that personally. Let me explain what I was trying to say: that they weren't taught some things in high school. Why? They didn't need to be taught those things. Why would a HS coach do that when they can focus on the things they need to know. But now at the college level, they need to know those things, so some are playing "catch up" on the job. One of those things, as I kind of alluded to before was technique. This is something that players are even admitting to being guilty of. Not playing technique on every play. Gregory says it in this article below stating that he and others haven't needed to play technique until now because they had the raw talent to make a play. But now they need the technique. http://journalstar.com/sports/huskers/football/2013/article_5193b630-8e25-50c3-b11d-06a39ac27279.html But I do apologize. I wasn't trying to make this personal even though I did. I am just trying to communicate a positive perspective on this. I realize now that I seem to be blaming players, but really, I'm merely blaming their inexperience. Something that they will over come, I truly believe that. Every good and great player had to overcome that. I think they will, I just hope sooner rather than later. Anyway, I think after that dick move, I'll remove myself from this discussion. I write too much anyway.
  8. People claiming they don't make adjustments really aren't understanding what they are seeing. There are adjustments made just about every game. These. +1 for both of you. The problem isn't adjustments or scheme necessarily. It is entirely a coaching failure for two seasons to teach how to run the scheme and the adjustments properly. If execution is to blame for every failure over and over, then the coaches are not teaching the players how to execute. To Bo's credit, he said this exact thing Monday. It's hard to agree with this. I honestly have to blame the high school coaches more than anything. I mean, we're talking a lot of young men. Example: Banderas to me has the instinct, skill and talent. It's just not quite clicking with him yet. You really think Lincoln Southwest (I think that's where he went to high school) taught him the intricacies of pass coverage? Nope. This is Nebraska, the best competition he had in that case was Fyfe, who happens to be on the team also... For a lot of these guys, in high school, they didn't need to understand how the Defense worked. Valentine is probably learning Technique down there for the first time. Up until this point, he was just able to light up Linemen left and right. His technique was just to hit the guy harder in front of him. But not the guys in college, they are 330 lbs guys who understand their role in their offenses. They're teaching execution, most likely correctly. But even the best calculus teacher can't teach everyone to Ace their class. I for one believe that eventually they'll get it. They just don't now... However, I do think that Bo is perhaps saying, we need to spend more time on "this" for "this guy" and "that" for "that guy". Just because they are so young, but I believe that they'll eventually get calculus... (terrible analogy). So I partially agree with that statement. Everyone who was a legend here, they weren't overnight successes. Someone stated that Suh wasn't SUUUUUUHHH! until the latter part of his junior year. And even Lavonte David took some time to get it. He's probably the smartest football I have seen in my years.
  9. I do not understand what you guys mean by "no adjusting". I mean, they technically adjust about every down depending on down and distance, or types of packages are on the field. I mean, mid-game, they switch MIKE's from Banderas to Santos. Randy Gregory was moving from 3pt stance to 2pt stance. His pick 6 was on a disguised blitz where he dropped into coverage. They had 8 men in the box in the second half where everyone in the box had an assigned gap (a safety was the 8th man). I mean, it's hard to see what you guys mean when you say "not enough adjustments" when there clearly were adjustments. These adjustments were just for the SDSU game too.
  10. Although I am very excited about TA and his future as a Husker, let us PLEASE remember the competition. Why? Here is an article about Zac Lee's success after his 340 yard 4 TD 0 Int game over Arkansas St. http://espn.go.com/blog/big12/post/_/id/3611/lees-fast-start-not-unexpected Here's another article about Sam Keller. http://cjonline.com/stories/072407/haw_186507520.shtml Let's remember that Keller had an amazing 438 yd 3 TD game against Brady Hoke's Ball State team... Nothing against TA, but one game does not tell a full story. Otherwise, We're talking about legends Zac Lee and Heisman winner Keller. Just keep things in perspective guys...
  11. Sounds to me like you want to play a spy. Bo doesn't play QB spy defense. Anyway, this is all preference anyway, just like the debate of one gap vs. two gap. If there truly was a no brainer option, we wouldn't have had this discussion, no one would. We would be having 7-6 scores or 6-3 scores. That is not the case though. I still do not like having cover two if you have 4 wide (4th man being the motion RB), the DLine is supposed to contain. This is exactly what isn't happening. We've been playing cover two for as long as Bo has been here. No one was complaining about cover two in 2009. Why? The DLine could contain, and everyone was executing their assignments. You could have the best defensive scheme ever created, but if the players do not do their jobs and follow their assignments, then fans get into discussion about what would be best. We've played nickel, weve played dime, we've created the "peso", hell, Gerry is a hybrid player similar to what Hagg played for us. The one and only difference between this team and 2009? Inexperience and lack of execution. That's it. Sure we have a different DC and all, but it's still Bo's defense. And we aren't just talking about the DLine missing assignments, or the MIKE or the safeties. On some occasions, one player missed an assignment. Most of the time, we're talking about a lot of people missing an assignment on one play. That's just inexperience. It hasn't clilcked for them yet. Hell, most of them probably don't even get the concepts and how their job is important to the defense as a whole. I know this is an over-generalization, but that is the conversation we should be having. Not this vs. that. This is a game of inches, when we see big plays, we may see how great that play was, but what actually happened was that someone made a mistake on the play. Jadaveon Clowney's big hit versus Michigan last year? The "Play of the Year!" Some people saw the hit. Which is an insane hit, but what really happened was that the Lineman missed a block. He got back there unblocked, not because of his talent (although, I don't doubt his talent, Kid's a BEAST), but because the other guy completely missed his block. The guy didn't even think of blocking the best DLineman in the country. Therefore, big hit! Relating to our team. Zenner's 40 yard TD run. The kid can run, no doubt about that. But that was a missed assignment too. Also, we blitzed leaving our safeties to play m2m against the guy Evans was supposed to cover. This cleared the whole backfield because the safeties had to leave their usual posts in the middle of the field (an argument for keeping a cover two). Leaving a clear lane for Zenner, that running lane isn't as wide had we played cover two. Anyway, turns out, Gregory didn't hit the hole created by the DLine for him to make the tackle (the MIKE was in coverage also, due to the blitz). If Gregory is there, it's a tackle. He wasn't. I am not blaming him, it was honestly the perfect offensive play call against the blitz that was called. The OC got lucky on that play call (I don't think the QB audibled into it). The point of this long ass post? Execution is key. I know Bo says it a lot, but it is the truth. The players will get it eventually. I just hope it's sooner rather than later. A bye week couldn't have come at a better time. It's kind of a blessing in disguise that we are playing so poorly early in the season. Fixing issues early is better than later.
  12. Who cares? I'm assuming this is asking about the question that is just above this post about LBs and safeties. This is very important. The entire defensive scheme must work together. A large part of why we are getting slashed up by running is we don't have very many guys at the LOS defending the run. That was the success teams like Wyoming had when putting one RB in motion. It moved the other LB out to cover him. THEN, when the safeties are playing over the top, this leaves only one LB to cover anything that gets through the D line. That is NOT good. That makes it extremely easy to run block or simply get the RB to beat the LB to the gap. Now, late in that Wyoming game, Nebraska made an adjustment on how they cover the RB in motion and it left another LB close to the LOS to cover the run and it helped. The man in motion vs. Wyoming was the single back. When he went in motion, the MIKE went with him. In lots of cases Santos was atleast 5 steps behind. None the less, why would you not play cover two when the only RB goes in motion and they spread out 4 (motion makes 5) wide? That's an obvious pass situation. When that happened, it was obvious who the ball was going to. The RB because of the mismatch of RB vs. MIKE LB. Either that, or it was a quick pass to the opposite side of the motion. Either way, you don't risk a long pass when you are defending a 4 wide (5 with motion man) shotgun spread.
  13. I'd love to see them suffer more... So no one... But realistically? They're gonna go after BIG names. They'll probably make offers to Meyer and Saban. I wouldn't be surprised to see them offer Muschamp the job too (again?). Who would they get? Probably someone like Charlie Strong or David Shaw. I could see a lot of offers though. A lot of big money offers. But you gotta like the names of the up and comers. (Not likely, but how would you like the scenario here they take Oregons head coach and the Ducks just name Frost Head Coach due to just naming OC head coach after previous guy left? Not likely, but hey, it's a scenario)
  14. Sorry to change the subject from the word "hate" and its subsequent use or non-use in this thread. But yes, I notice a lot of negativity going Taylor Martinez's way. Which is unfortunate. First of all, if Bo (and other coaches) thought that TA is a better player than TM, they would do what they did to Zac Lee and Cody Green and start a redshirt freshman over them. Sure, TM was the obvious choice considering how dormant the offense was with Lee and Green. 27/35 340 yards 4 TD's 0 Int. That's one game. The guys a starter right? Who cares about the competition, get that guy in the game! OK another guy. 29/37 438 yards 3 TD's 1 Int. HOLY SMOKES! These guys are efficient! Who are these guys? Zac Lee and Sam Keller. Zac Lee's game was against Arkansas State. Sam Keller's game was against Brady Hoke's Ball State. But what about running ability? How about 238 rushing yards against Texas? A top 10 ranked Texas team! Jammal Lord. We lost the game, we should have won if JLo hadn't thrown into double coverage in the end zone. His senior season, people in the stands were yelling for Joe Dailey to play! I remember chants of "DAILEY!! DAILEY!!" Then when Joe Dailey started, it went awry (granted he was a deer in the headlights due to the extreme change in offensive philosophy). Listen, I have no doubt in my mind that TA looked amazing out there. His throwing motion looked perfect, his long ball was thrown with such ease and touch. There's even a part of me that is kind of hoping TM's injury lingers just a bit longer to see how TA plays. One game doesn't tell the whole story though. We don't win games against Ohio St (2011), Wisconsin, NW, and Michigan State without TM. TM has proven he can do this. You cannot credit him for any losses, but you can sure credit him for lots of wins. His arm helped us beat OKST when they were the 2nd hottest offense in the Nation. TM has shown he can do it. If the coaches think that TM is still the guy, then he's still the guy. If they think that TM is still the guy, but TA is a better guy, then they'd go with him. They want to win more than we do, they're actually out there feeling what the players are feeling. Hell, some may even argue that their jobs are on the line. They wouldn't start TM just because he's a senior.
  15. I'll second this. Those were terrible years for kicking. I never actually did it, but I also saw it as "giving the kicker an extra helping shoe" like a helping hand because they couldn't kick worth crap. Once we got Adi, I thought it was dumb to continue it because well, he didn't need the extra "shoe" since he always kicked it to the endzone. But now that the whole student section does it, it looks great to see them do it as a tradition and all together. Kind of cool to see, albeit a bit dumb but who the f*ck cares?
  16. Each answer is correct. Better play calling lead to narrowing the scope of what plays the offense plays. When you play the plays everyone knows, you're bound to have better execution because they have done it a thousand times. Chip Kelly said that they only have 4 running plays while at Oregon. It just leads to better execution because your allowing the players to have more confidence in what they are doing. When that happens, and everyone executes better, your QB play is by far better. It also helps that you do this against an FCS defense. All of this happens. Let's be honest, Taylor would have looked amazing too. Although, I have to admit, Tommy looked great! So did RKIII. Thank the whole offense, and the OC for playing plays those kids have ran through a thousand times before thanking Tommy (even though he looked great). Also, thank SDSU for having a not so good defense.
  17. Bo had brought up the point that they switched from two gap to one gap. But that requires that LB's play gaps and that a safety comes up for additional help. It pays dividends on the 3rd and long plays (where we got sacks), but as you saw on one particular 3rd and long play, where the qb just barely got out and completed a pass to a WR. He was completely wide open and was less than a yard short. It leaves holes in the defensive backfield. I know Bo says "execute" a lot, but if you play one way or the other and you don't execute. Something bad could happen. Whether executing means lining up correctly, hitting the right gaps, LB's hitting the right gap. LB's missing coverage, or simply just not getting the qb down, something bad will happen. The one gap almost got them a first down on that play, due to poor execution (not executing getting the sack). When you usually play a cover two (like we do), and you take out a safety, it puts more pressure on the outsides. The CB need to stay tight in coverage. REALLY tight. You should note that also, the one gap is not just simply "hit that gap and have fun". If that gap is not where the play is going, the DL needs to press the OL into the play. Also, your gap is predictable and allows for other OL's to move forward to the second level (LB's) to block them on running plays. What we have to remember is that this is not simply "DLine plays one gap, fun will happen". You have to ask yourself, are you willing to play one gap and leaving free OL's to get to your second level (LB's)? Or do you want your LB's free to read the play and make a play. Unfortunately, for the two gap, no MIKE has been able to read as well as he should. That's just inexperience. I see it better in Banderas than I do in Santos. Santos takes to long to read and doesn't react quick enough, often not hitting any gap at all and catching up to the rb when he passes him. Banderas has the ability, just needs more experience. Remember, David wasn't an instant hit. It took him a few games to get his bearings too. There's plus and minuses to each. I personally like two gap. It allows that second level to make more plays rather than just being blocked. I just hope that those MIKE's play better. I see it in Banderas, he just isn't quite there yet. The two gap also allows us to play a cover two, which I have always liked. More can be said, but football is extremely complex. You can draw up perfect plays to confuse the other side of the ball, only to have the ball go the other way for a TD. The difference is usually "who made the bigger mistake". Was there a missed block? Was there a missed assignment? Did someone cover the wrong guy? Did we hit the wrong gap? Was the route cut shorter than it should have? They don't call it a "game of inches" for nothing.
  18. I am unsure if this is kosher on here, but I just need a bit of a hand. This can be deleted if it's inappropriate. I sit in East Upper, and I would like to ask a favor from someone else who sits up there. All you have to do is drop off a card to people who normally sit next to me in Section 601, Rows 1 and 2. The card will just say I have a proposal for them to make a possible trade for tickets for the Northwestern game. I am planning a bachelor party for 8 of us to sit together, and since I already have seats in east upper, I can trade for seats for the other 6 in other parts of the stadium for the game. I'd really like for us to sit together. I won't be going to the game this weekend, we donated them for a good cause. So why didn't I ask anyone before now? Well, I was going to during the UCLA game, but we barely got there before kickoff, I spent most of the time at halftime in line for restroom, and I wasn't in the mood after the game... As I am sure most of them felt too. (Although, hindsight tells me they would've probably given me their tickets at that point... haha *tear*) Anyway, So if someone could just drop off a simple card I'll print out to have them contact me for the proposal, I would be most grateful! Thanks! And sorry for wasting anyone else's time...
  19. I agree with this A LOT!! I was venting with a friend about this exact point! The victim was the Defense! What a shame that they take the blame. Should they have stopped UCLA better? Yes. But granted, one touchdown was a perfect pass to a very well covered receiver. Take this scenario. We have ONE good drive in the 3rd Quarter. Just one, that's it. We score a TD. We're talking a score of 28-34, if things continued on the similar path and that one drive was just an anomaly of the rest of the second half. One drive does that. Sure the comeback still looks bad, but I still say the blame is on the offense. One good drive for us, takes one good drive from UCLA. Time of possession is a very important thing. How many 3 and outs did we have in the 3rd quarter? I don't even remember! One too many for a defense to get slightly rested. I mean, they had to be ready perpetually through the game. My thoughts during the game was "why aren't we running the ball?!?!" Oh, they were loading the box? This is Nebraska, we accept that challenge. Imani Cross will be more than happy to accept that challenge. Instead, we threw the ball. All they had to do was kept loading the box and wait until we got predictable. The 3 and outs were easy to come by then. Also, another rant before I leave... There was a 3rd and long (9 or 8) where Taylor threw a ball to #__. He was open, and would have gotten the first down. He dropped it. I don't doubt #__'s abilities, nor do I curse him for dropping the ball, I am sure he feels terrible about it. The point I am trying to make is that it's 3rd and long and we had gone 3 and out every drive up until that point (if my memory serves me correctly). Why in the heck aren't our #1's out there?!?!? That ball belongs to Enunwa or Bell. Not #__. Nothing against #__, this is not an attack on him. 3rd and Long. All your best players HAVE to be out there! (I opted out of putting the players number on there, this isn't about him) Anyway, I actually love the scheme, and concepts. The creative option game was so awesome to see the first year! But now, I don't see it. Although the shifting and motions in the first half of the game was great to see also (great to see UCLA trying to catch up on what to do next), but what happened to that? Where did that go? It was gone in the second half. I don't blame any players on this, nor the defense (fully) for the loss. The play calls on offense were terrible in the second half. I am not calling for anyone's head or anything, I just want to play better and for the coordinators to put the team in the best position. Anyway, I always try not to rant, but once I saw someone that agreed with me, I have to chime in... Please do not have a smart remark unless it's accompanied with a hilarious GIF...
  20. Love the alternate uniforms this year. But sorry, still wearing red. I always wear red. It's a good luck charm. Last time I wore black we lost to Texas in a heartbreaker due to a fumble by a certain receiver (although he was hit pretty darn hard by the CB if my memory recalls correctly). I would wear black if this were more organized. If we heard from Someone from the athletic department and such. Hell, I'd even do it if the papers said something about it. You want this to happen? Be more organized. Don't just come onto huskerboards and complain. Organize with the band. Organize with the daily Nebraskan. Then give the journal star, world herald, and all other nebraska papers and news outlets a call. Or at the very least, tell the athletic department you want this done. They'll listen and if they hear enough voices, it'd be done. At this point in time though? Looks like the students will be the only ones in black. Which is fine, we were the only ones in black vs Texas that day. Just organize next time...
  21. Wearing my Tommy Frazier jersey as I have since 98 when I went to my first game at Memorial Stadium. It's good luck. Maybe I'll wear a black shirt underneath but I cannot part with my good luck charm.
  22. Sec 601 Row 1 Seat 7 Loved the seats!! I am a huge fan of seeing everything on the field. I love seeing how the defenses and offenses line up and how plays develop and seeing things that are happening down field. So for me, these seats are great! Having front row seats, the railing is actually closer to about 30 inches. I know the design standards are a minimum of 26 inches for seating area (40 inch minimum for aisles/traffic areas), but these were slightly higher than the minimum of 26. They weren't flimsy at all despite their look (which look that way to minimize any view obstruction). I also wasn't worried at all about falling over or anything like that. I was more worried about accidentally dropping my phone... The extra 2 inches per seat we had were considerably noticeable. Having sat squeezed next to people in other parts of the stadium, the elbow room was definitely something that I really liked. It seemed everyone was comfortable (despite the heat). I went to the top, and although it may be steep. It did not feel steep compared to places like Arrowhead and Kauffman Stadiums. Why? Each row has a railing in front of the bleachers. This meant more leg room, and gave the feeling of not feeling like you could easily fall into the seats in front of you. Going to the restroom was quick! At any other part of the stadium, you have to wait until halftime or something to go to the restroom because the journey is so long to get there. Up there, it's a quick journey and could easily go during shorter time outs. That is definitely nice. Same goes for concessions. (See below about restroom complaints though) Of course, I do not get uneasy about heights, this could be different for someone who is. Complaints: Definitely couldn't hear the band as loudly as you'd like. I for one am a fan of hearing the band. I can live with it, you can still hear them, just not as loud as I have experienced in other parts of the stadium. (Halftime show was loud enough though). Being in section 601, we were at one end of the upper deck. Having been drinking water all day to ensure hydration, the first time I tried to find a restroom I was taken quite by surprise. Why? I had to pass by 3 Women's restrooms before getting to the Men's. I understand the need for more restrooms for women and all, I can live with that, but 3 restrooms in a row?!? I mean 2W then 1M then 1W could make more sense. The line wasn't too bad, but still, when you really have to go and do not want to miss any action, passing 3 women's restrooms was not fun... Haha! Other than that, I am glad we got these seats! I didn't have any issues getting out, we took an elevator down (might've got lucky though).
  23. So I love all the images put on here of all the progress! The main reason I am here (and joined) though?: This is THE source of information regarding ribbon boards. You guys are tops on ribbon board information! (Jokes aside, awesome images and such...)
