This is definitely the season of missed opportunity. No question in my mind this team could have beaten UCLA, Minnysoda, Sparty and Iowa Stat. There's also no question in my mind we could have lost to Wyoming, Northwestern, Penn State and Michigan. We will remember the struggles of new blood, the turmoil of the coaching, the injuries upon injuries, the turnovers aplenty, and the 4 losses. We will be quick to forget the heart the team showed when the deck was stacked against them, the great games we won, the fact we were the first to knock off Michigan in Ann Arbor, and that yet another Seniors career was cut too short. We had a lot go wrong and the positives will be outweighed by the negativity. We are a program infused with tension. Direction is dizzy at best. We don't know what the future brings. It's borderline terrifying to be honest. Next year could be something special or a complete disaster. Either way, I'll be wearing red and saying go big red.

Yes, Iowa IS better than our 3rd team QB and our 2nd team offensive line. Congratulations! Now that is how rivalries are made! It hurts so bad to lose that excuses spread like wildfire. Bad coach, bad players, bad turnovers, bad fans, bad AD, bad, bad, bad................... Losing, especially as bad as Nebraska did, should make for a good "fire in the belly" when you come to Iowa City next year. I can assure you that game will mean more to Nebraska fans than what they are willing to admit. If Iowa wins next year will it be a legit rivalry? If Iowa wind will it just be because of a bad coach, bad players, bad turnovers, bad fans, bad AD, bad, bad, bad................... Lets call it what it is, a rivalry in the making! We are tired of you rubbing past successes in our faces, and now it is our time! Who knows, maybe next year our time will continue? Maybe Nebraska will come to Iowa City and reverse the tables and beat the crap out of the Hawkeyes. That said, maybe the Hawks will win. Either way, it will be a great buildup to a great game, even if the faithful do not want to admit it. BTW, somebody commented on Iowa's lack of total offensive yards. The only reason that we did not have more was because of the endzone! If we would have taken the ball at our own 10 every possession, we would have had a ton of yards! Oh yea, this is definitely a rivalry in the making! Hopefully both sets of fans can enjoy the ride! No question field position played a part in the overall outcome. Westerkamp fair catching at the 1yd line was one of the more befuddling things Ive witnessed. Better believe were coming to Kinnick with a vengeance.

Turnover problems fixed, Special Teams fixed, Defensive growth continues, no more than 2 losses to ranked winning teams.

Think about the world at large and see if any of those things are actually that awful. And for a person making $3 million a year. Still doesn't require him to be a nice guy. The only reason people give a damn about his demeanor is because of the loss. If we were 12-0 the same ones criticizing his attitude would praise it as a way of getting the team fired up and focused. It's been a rough year but its not over yet. Got a Bowl to win.

Honestly if you bail on Nebraska because you are tired of the coach and want to gamble on a new one that's perfectly acceptable. Turn in your Husker fan card and pick your new team. I hear Alabama is hot right now. Just don't expect to get your card back when Nebraska gets back on top.

Bo catches crap all f'ing year, then has to deal with sh**ty calls. The fans call for his head 55 seconds out of every minute. His team cant seem to focus and he doesn't know how to fix it.
