  1. I'm happy you're no longer wondering. I was worried. Almost.
  2. Speaking of ball size, your man Mickey has the option of running Chins off this week if he chooses.....
  3. Except you DIDN'T include 'hoped" in your first post.....but nice backpedal.
  4. Actually, the most intriguing part of the Nebraska job is the guaranteed buyout. They would be next in line on the beach for a Medelo from Snoop Dog.
  5. You don't even realize you put the word "hoped" in there, which is the actual quote. My most embarrassing times as a Husker fan were Riley's blowouts. And there were several. Frost couldn't get the Ws, but he moved us to being more competitive.
  6. That has nothing to do with what Frost actually said.
  7. So if I understand your post, Mickey is our head coach and we should get behind him. If I missed anything, please advise.
  8. Mickey Jospeh will be able to make bigger $$ elsewhere than "recruiting assistant" at Nebraska. He'll keep an eye on what happens at LSU.
  9. Why was it bad? It gets misquoted often so just asking.....
  10. Of course I was hopeful Frost would succeed. He didn't. I think Alberts had Frost's back by firing him before the buyout went down. I also know these decisions are made by those who have a higher net worth than I do.
  11. What does brighter days ahead look like next Saturday? Is our schedule weak or brutal? I'm fine that Frost is gone. Never once met the guy and have zero input in these decisions. I'm excited for Mickey. But his sleepless nights have just begun.
  12. The only way we can "look" different is not losing one score games.
  13. Don't move your goalposts. I'm excited for Mickey, but don't move your goalposts that Frost is our reason for losing not talent or schedule.
  14. Let's hope Mickey Joseph doesn't lose to an "inferior" opponent.
  15. Perlman resented more than you're giving him "credit" for.....including Osborne being more influential than him with the regents and high level donors Pelini's most famous rants came well after Perlman started his mission to scoot Osborne out of the way and get rid of Pelini.....but you've regurgitated your opinion on Pelini enough it isn't worth further discussion. Perlman's retirement statement about his legacy with Nebraska football is his own wording and highly accurate.
  16. Trev is very much hoping it works out and at the same time was mature and professional enough to say the evidence doesn't support it. Let's just play the games and see what happens. Others can talk about the dozens of names that aren't coming to Nebraska. I'm more interested seeing what this staff can do.
