LETS REVIEW HERE LIED TO SCHOOL AND NCAA LIED TO NATIONAL MEDIA BROKE WHO REALLY KNOWS HOW MANY NCAA RULES PLAYED PLAYERS WHO WERE INELIGABLE COST HIS SCHOOL & TEAM HOW MUCH MONEY AND A TRIP TO LAST YRS N.C. GAME AND ROSE BOWL THEN TRIED VERY HARD TO COVER UP ALL OF ABOVE AND YOU WANT HIM HERE ??????????? Caught the 10-11 sports from Lincoln and they had their guy live in Happy Valley and the report he gave was perdy much standard stuff till they got near the end and he said (not a quote cause I cant remember his exact words) something about that this game is connected to Bo keeping his job. .........thats the first time I have heard one of the local TV sports guys even get near the issue of Pelinis job.......In the past 99% of the time ch.8 sports and chs.10-11 sports guys dont say anything unless there is truth in it someplace that we are not aware of. I would think that if tomorrows game is connected to his job status then nxt weeks Iowa game is too and maybe even what ever bowl we wind up in. Though with the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl guys being here and at the post game press conference it looks real strongly that we are headed west for a Big 12 game with OU or Texas......again it sure is sounding to me like those who said Coach Bo needs to win out including Bowl Game to be retained were /are right maybe? .......Damn I hope this is wrong but you NEVER hear the local TV SPORTS GUYS saying anything unless they know or have a trusted source that knows something.

Ive ways liked Coach Richt and respected the type program he runs. It does seem that there is something missing though because you would think with the talent pool he gets he should be in contention for a Conference Championship and National Championships a lot more than he has. I get the whole "yeah but he is in the SEC" crap...the national media mainly ESPN wont let the country forget it either......anyway Unless he is VERY un happy at Georgia No matter what someone wishes or dreams up......I just cant see Nebraska and all of its individual challenges including its fanbase, being at or even near the top of his list of places he would like to coach at.

From reading some of the stuff people posted some was spot on and some was......well......lets just say "Drugs are so BAD"

I have had the luck to see games in both places Happy Valley and the Big House and I would pick Michigan anytime over Penn.St. To travel to and play. My thoughts are While I hope its a RED LETTER DAY for us in light of recent developements if this team has taught me anything its to expect the unexpected and hope for the best. If Tommy gets into the zone and Gregory and Co. Have some gas left in the tank this could be a great day for Huskers everywhere.....but....knowing how their coach can get things done I just am not that certain as a lot of you are. What ever the outcome as long as our guys give us 4 hard fought quarters I will still be proud of them. This group has gone through a helluva lot this season and I take my hat off to them for not folding their tents and giving up. I wonder where this team would be if we had a season without the tape incident and had no injuries to our Seniors ? Oh well we still have this game and The resurgent Hawkeyes commin for Turkey Dinner so it aint over till its over.

Not this one. I will believe it when I see it and even then check several trustworthy places and even still it wont really sink in till I see the press conference. Just sayin.

One thing about him is he REALLY deserves any and all the cudos he can get. In my opinion his work ethic and team first attitude fall right in line with what makes Nebraska so special. I will support any effort to get him in the National Spotlight any way I can help. I also love the hint that he is not jumping to the NFL till his work here is done. As an I-Back here we all know what a risk he is taking with his future by coming back and playing again.......that good people takes a special kind of person to put his Team and School ahead of the $$$ signs of the NFL. WE WISH HIM THE VERY BEST OF LUCK GBR!

Yeah I hate it when these educated self proclaimed masters of the game claim they have all the answers and can fix any problem but Thank God they never seem to step up and try to do something about it. If you hadnt noticed they are the ones who have a pulpet to preach from so they scream the loudest. They (including dirk diggler or whatever his name is. ......dont matter they are all alike ) are the first to jump on the bandwagon when things go good but the second and I mean the very split second there is one bump in the road man they bail faster than whores in church or rats from a from a drop of water. I cant control what they write just as they cant stop me from having my own opinions about them. Someday when the leaker is found out what are you all going to do or say if its one of the local sportswriters who has sand in his crack about Coach Bo ? I refuse to patronize any of them by NOT listening or paying much attention to anything they have to say. That mighty pen they hold in such reverence has cost a lot of good people un waranted grief over the years and almost drove the best coach this program ever had to Colorado of all places once upon a time.....Man am I ever glad that guy decided to NOT let the press and their Ideas of what this program needed bother him and weather out the storm.

Because as a general rule we as a species are a self important, gullable and panic stricken lot. Not to mention Husker fans can be among the worst after the whole "I refuse to let this team slide into mediocrity fire Solich and Hire Callahan " fiasco. I think the op on the Blackshirts facebook page is more than likely posting a rumor he heard and really has no idea what doing this is going to become should the rumor prove to be false........Husker Faithfull have a long memory and this very well could turn quickly into a 10 year nightmare. .........the kind where 10 yrs from now he writes a check at some store and the checkout person says "Hey aint you the guy who posted the story about Coach Pelini a few yrs back and it was all B.S. ?" Sorry but I just cant see this going down like that even if it did have a shread of truth to it. Bo is just not the type to give up without a fight.....unless every single emotion and action we have seen with our own eyes out of him is all an act.......and seriously not even John Wayne could pull that acting job off. The University has alot invested in Bo and company so much so that the best sense money wise would be to give him the rope to hang himself with first. People seem to forget he and 99% of his staff are all first time guys at the jobs they have so its a given that things are going to need to grow and personally I have seen good strides made every year since he got here and he has NEVER had a losing season as a head coach and with the 2014 class of guys coming together that will be his first 100% Pelini recruited players. Myself I dont think anything will be done as far as canning him till the 2015 off season and thats even doubtfull. Harvey Pearlman is plain to smart a guy to fire a coach who has never had less than a 9 win season and never had to sit home during bowl season. When are people gonna get it that in this day and age in College Football things are WAAAAY different than the 90s. I at least would like to see where he can get us at the end of the 2015 season before I will get me some fire Bo Kool aid and I just cant see Dr. Tom making that bad a choice to carry us into tbe Big 10 and beyond.

All of the above are must do things!, if you can though, she is 6 you said right ? so dont try an do so much she will be asleep on your shoulder in the 4th quarter. Both of ours spent the last qtr.either in my arms on my wifes lap sleeping away for their first game or 2. I found out some 13 yrs ago when we took our first born (our daughter now a Sr. In high school and already accepted to UNL starting the 2014 fall semester) that while taking them that young is great fun they really will get more out of the whole experience if you make sure you take them again when they are old enough to grasp the meaning of just what a special place in College Football history it truly is. While all the material things like food and Husker gear and so forth are great its the whole audio,visual all out assult on your senses and the memory imprint that they will never forget. I can still smell the state fair like atmosphere and sights and sounds of my first game so many years ago now and will long after the roar of the crowd has died out and the game is over.

Thats just what I was thinking. Now we will find out how much of what he said is truth. Love him or hate him Urban Meyer knows how to pounce on a guy who has already said as much as Nebraska is the place I would love to go play right after we have a loss at home to MEECHICKEN STATE and all the rumors flying around about coaching staff. One of his best tactics is to steal guys like this from others in whatever leauge he has been in using the loss and rumor mill to give him ammunition to throw at a guy and get him to sign and spend his time mainly riding the pine till his time is up really his only motivation is to keep us from getting a guy we need. Oh well While we could use a guy with his drive and skill set RIGHT AWAY nxt season we will just have to see what happens. T.C. If you read this buddy we here at Nebraska have a home for you man and if your the guy we all hope and pray you are I know the staff will do everything they say (case in point our QB recruit who has suffered several bad knocks to his mellon and kept him from playing 99% of his Sr. Year in high school and coach Bo saying no matter if he could ever play a down we would honor our pledge and commitment to him) This is a stand up straight up honest staff here. We have the beginings of something REALLY SPECIAL GOING ON HERE ON DEFENSE for the forseeable future

All I know for certain is all the bullsh#t negativity crap that the local sports writers who by the way have never played the game or coached the game at this level but still feel as if they have all the answers, and thats getting posted in the forums and twitter and all the other forms of social media IS STARTING TO HAVE A VERY BAD IMPACT ON THE TEAM AND ITS ABILITY TO STAY FOCUSED ON THE NXT 2 GAMES AND A BOWL. That really sucks! You would think people would be smart enough to see the negative results of what they type. But then again I have never met any of the sports writers who struck me as being above average in the smarts department so you can take them for what they are worth. The price of a story and thats about it.

I dont want to get down on Tommy cause he does seem to have something, Beck calls the "IT" factor but so far I have not seen or gotten a sense of what ever " IT " is ? I dont proclaim to be a great judge of things of this nature either but I have seen a young guy who has great leadership ability and a un canny knack for running the option pitch play but really his running skills are still suspect to my eyes and his ability to deliver a on target ball with his arm. What I have seen is RK3 can run the option pitch and all the other toss or hand off plays and he can deliver the ball with pin point precision so a question that will linger for me is why didnt they put him in for 2 or 3 series at the start of the 2nd half and see what happened ? at that point the winner of the game for everyone if they would admit it or not was still very much in doubt the way our D was playing it might have given us the spark we so badly needed. The game is not about jimmys and joes but is about "X"s and "O"s Cant blame RK3 for being pissed, Bo & Beck's decision to not try it at least just might have cost us this game and OTHER YET TO BE DECIDED THINGS.

Honestly in my opinion we have way to much time and players invested in him now to bail on the program and scrap it all and go another direction again. We have exactly what we were all screaming for just a few short years ago an offense that is geared to ball control and the run /play action passing as well as elements of hurry up and pocket passing zone read so whats not to like there sure Beck makes mistakes in play calling time to time but he is trying to give you all you ask for. We have seen signs of just how this system if run right can confuse and tax the best "D" in our division and the country i think. And if you saw what Bo and companies kids did in the big house to the mighty M & what we did in our own back yard you know this is going to be a scary as hell defense for the next several years. Like i said dont throw out a good thing on a chance at something better.

I agree but for other reasons. First at this point with all the latest goings on Chancelor Pearlman and A.D. Eichorst's failure to makea public statement in support of Coach Pellini does kind of seem odd and telling at the same time. They have to know that it can and more than likley is having an effect on Recruiting. Second at this point seriously who in their right mind would be interested in the job if they do cut him loose? I have yet to see a serious list of interested guys that have what this program needs most of all and thats a modern Tom Osborne.....if there is a coach out there with all qualities he has and is a proven forward thinking person with the morality of T.O. I dont have a clue where he is at do any of you ? you find him and I will jump on the bandwagon and ask for a glass of fire Coach Bo. Third if he gets canned or leaves on his own we can kiss another 5-6 years goodbye cause the guys on the team now with the exception of a few 5th yr seniors are all his guys now and lets not forget the only head coaching exp. He had before getting the call from T.O. Is the bowl game where we beat Sparty and co. Wow how quickly we seem to forget that. You are aware also that there are only 3 teams who can lay claim to 5 consecutive 9 win seasons today right ? and Nebraska is one of them, along with Alabama and oh hell I forget now but anyway my point is, this is not the same as hiring a head coach with a proven system and solid follow him anywhere staff this is all new to both O and D cordinators as well as the head man. To build something special takes time and luck, well we have always had to earn everything we have gotten by hard work honesty and loyalty and I think we have bankrupt the luck bank for sure. Does any of this ring any bells? or am I just wasting my time trying to get some to see either we stick with him now ( because we let the process go on till now ) or do we take the easy route to more problems than we have now and cut him loose

I agree with those who liked what we saw today. Bo is right this team is going to be scary good come nxt season even more so if Bo can land a couple of his choice recruits like he did today. Take away the bad calls take away the shots to our own feet and this game has a complete different outcome. Its obvious Bo really does know what he is trying to get done and i have re newed faith he will. Besides who knows what if any changes he will make in the off season with the staff too? And the quicker the A.D. And Admin. Come out backing Bo the better off the whole program will be. Seriously what quality coach would want this job ? not 1 i can think of. I havent been this optomistic about the state of the program and the direction we are headed for a long time.....since before Callahan.

I heard right as the game got underway that Lockhart was "N" and was keeping my fingers crossed that the REALLY BIG KID WEARING STREET CLOTHES AND A CRIMSON AND CREAM LETTERMANS JACKET COMPLETE WITH VISITOR PASS ATTACHED standing on the sidelines off to the left of Bo in the last few seconds of RK3,s td drive was a kid waiting to give Bo his verbal ? he sure looked like the juco D lineman that visited today ? But rather than speak out of turn I wont speculate but both tbe wife and I saw him and you could tell he was waiting for a chance to say something to Bo so who knows? I really like where this team is headed despite the loss. We out played them in every place but final score and it looks as if our luck bank has run dry for this year now we still have to win out to keep Bo in place cause if he can continue to get kids like played today we are gonna be fine.

I am more frightened of the quick out sideline pass (thats really a longer pitch) like Oklahoma did to us, they wont bite on the motion and jump the pass and get a fast pick 6. I get a sick feeling in my gut everytime I see them call that play and whats worse is Beck sure likes to use it. I just hope he dont today cause somebody is gonna get wise and snag one before the season is over if he dont quit trying it. You can only go to the well so many times before someone like Narduzzi figures out the signs to watch for and jumps it.

We are not among you today in person but in spirit, to be a part of the Sea of Red.
