Yeah I guess I don’t get it.... non paid non Nebraska site. So not competing and not circumventing any cash flow... why wouldn’t we be able to see a link? That’s like saying someone has been chronicalling the Nebraska coach search on Wikipedia... and saying we can’t post a link to Wikipedia. I mean rules are rules but seems silly.

So I listened to the whole Diaco interview from yesterday, and I came away more concerned about the entire program more than anything else. I was fairly shocked to hear that the administration has been forcing things like how to tackle to our coaches - and it seems like this has been an institutional problem for awhile (the meddling). It is hard for me wrap my head around that... seems like a huge handcuff for any staff to do what they need to do in order to succeed. The fragmented culture and overall program showing its cracks in the foundation - it all seems to need a reset. I basically feel less worried that we hire the right coach... but more of a worry for the program as a whole needing a fresh start with a clean slate. Im not sure how that happens but Im hopeful Moos can do it with whoever he decides to hire.

Listen at around 22:01 through 22:24 in regards to Diaco... just a small segment but I thought it was interesting. Sounds like there is 0% Diaco is here next year based on what Benning says at the end of that. I mean... they are all gone... but first time I heard him come out and be definitive about it.

From a UF board : Take it for what it’s worth, but a very reliable UF inside information poster on TOS says he has a very close friend that works in the Florida UAA and he has another friend in the UCF UAA. He is reporting pretty much the same as what’s been posted on the UCF board. That Frost is basically a done deal in terms of Frost being a clear #1 on Stricklin’s list and Frost’s reps saying that he is totally in if offered. Just the details to be worked out and time until UCF is done with their regular season before it can be officially announced.

I get the change for him... respect making your own decision for whatever reasons. Not going to get bent out of shape about it anymore. I want everyone that is good to come and play for the team I cheer for. But if you choose not to... Bye Felicia. Just another story about what could have been when we see him in the NFL.

I just want to be relevant again with a good coach and a team that plays tough for them... all this speculation, clamoring about coaches blah blah blah - it gets old. I was excited about Riley when he was hired and the opportunity that change brought. That has slowly died in my mind. I will again be excited when we get a new coach and a new opportunity for change. I just dont want that to be my only excitement for Nebraska football the rest of my life.

In that scenario... I lean towards C. Top 15 class means he has some additional 4 stars... and possibly even a 5 star in the fold. Say we have a new AD by then... I am assuming he takes the recruiting into this scenario - probably replaces Cav and Reggie. AD gives him an ultimatum for next year that it is CCG or BYE. You lose 2-3 games early and he gone. Lets Scott Frost work on being a coach a little longer.... he is still super young in his HC career. Any time working issues out that he comes across at UCF makes it easier for him to have success when he inevitably comes here.

247 I think it is VIP though - I don't have access to it but was talking to a colleague -they could be blowing smoke though... they are all UF alum. Still staying with my feeling of 70/30 though. Living in Florida and working for and with a lot of UF people I always get a lot of smack talk about them and hear about their recruiting rumors. Best part about it though is that my screen saver, which never shuts off, is a scrolling montage of Frazier's run in the Fiesta Bowl.

New article on this - in a nutshell he is talking with Florida more then ever, up in the air about any kind of flip, but that there is no place like Nebraska. I feel 70/30 on him stay/flip

I feel like if your initial knee jerk response to a tweet is that you want to stay home and not something like keeping your options open or something else like that... Then maybe that is truly what it is. Which makes it feel like a usc Oregon type situation

Does anyone know how one gets named a captain of the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl? The article didn't mention anything about that. Interested to know if it was voted on by peers or hand picked by coach... maybe just pulling a name out of a hat lol. Always loved watching him play wish his elbow didnt get hurt this year we could have used his talents.
