The Cubs brand will be whatever the Cubs & their fans want it to be. They aren't going to stop partying in the bleachers or hanging out on rooftops or filling up Wrigleyville because they finally won a title.
That's true, but they don't have control over how the rest of the league looks at them. They aren't the "lovable losers" anymore. Now, they're just another team.
