Blame me if you want for getting it taken down because of my comment, but the status was clearly political. Which is why I ask was "America" triggered, or did OP just want certain group of people to be upset. If it wasn't political why would we need to know that supposedly our entire country was triggered. I'm part of America and so are you, clearly we weren't "triggered" and found it funny.

Amen..also if you are getting upset about posts on a husker site that aren't about the Huskers you need to take a chill pill and are not acting rad and/or tubular.

Preventing political discussion in status updates was a request made by countless members for several months and years, long before I became a mod. This was not a mod driven decision. Updates were causing needless arguments, warnings and suspensions because people couldn't control themselves. I'm actually doing less moderating in the status updates now since the rule went into place. We posted a very lengthy explanation of this decision last fall and we tend to ere on the side of caution. Any suggestion that we're over-moderating lacks scope and understanding, in my opinion.

In fact, I would encourage people to add their thoughts to that thread for better documentation.
