He doesn't understand the difference between being a validictorian and not graduating. He doesn't understand the difference between being against all abortions and paying for one of his own. He doesn't understand the difference between for profit and non profit organizations. He doesn't seem to understand that if you say you make substantial donations to charity that there's a way for people to actually check on that. He doesn't seem to understand that there's a difference between owning a company and not (and there's a way for people to check on that too). He doesn't seem to understand that when you father a child a kid is born and you need to support them. He certainly doesn't understand diabetes.

I agree completely - now I think he needs to go back to the old TO addage of not showboating after a good play .."act like you've been there before". It has NEVER, in any state been a requirement of a playing athletics. And that information (similar to a woman's discussion on birth control or her husbands lack of ability to perform in bed) should not be shared with anyone other than that woman's doctor. And sure, you can opt not to share or lie but there are changes that a woman's body undergoes depending on where she is in her cycle, so it's helpful for a doctor to know for instance if they're feeling an engorged cervix or a tumor. Or you simply have no access and interaction with women who speak with you candidly about their bodily functions and needs and what is absolutely out of line for others to know about those things.

TG I agree it's likely abortion ... but I think it starts there and then somehow there is the inability to see that it's only one issue, and that they might align completely with every other dem area of focus. I know our "tent" is big and there are pro life dems - I'm curious why they get hung up on semantics of PRO LIFE vs PRO ABORTION. I'm a non practicing catholic. Never had an abortion, don't know that I ever would have, but I don't think it's my place to tell others what their discussions with their sig others and doctors should be. Why is it that those folks are so black and white with wanting a universal ban rather than just minding their own business and letting women make their own decisions if it doesn't impact them? It just seems so black and white and when it's one issue of many you'd think it wouldn't be such a heavy influencer in a vote.

Seems to me that as religion has become more prevalent and public in the US, the nations' morals and ethics have gone to pot. The blind allegiance to things talked about from the pulpit that are totally unrelated to the bible or whatever is just taking advantage of people who go looking for support and community. But there are plenty of non affiliated groups that do good in the world, so while I am sure there might be some outages, when I look at those really consistently doing the "lords work" no matter the situation (war, floods, fire etc), there isn't neccesarily a tie in to a religion of any kind. World Central Kitchen is top of mind as I see them working in Florida this week and also in Ukraine and any where else there is a crisis. You are completely right though that there are crazies all over the world. All of you with a thing for Meyer forget that every recruit has a mom, grandma, maybe a sister or a girlfriend. To knowingly hire someone who not just condones but hides spousal abuse and someone who comes with a pretty decent list of his own personal abusive and philandering behavior and make him the face of the program, is not an investment in the teams future, in fact it harms the program in a way I don't think we recover from. You don't just lose a lot of lifetime fans and financial supporters of the program (cuz they too have female friends and family members that they respect, or they're just moral people that will not continue giving money to such a program). If you think a parent is going to say "hel* yeah that's the guy I want showing my kid how to be a young man, I can't wait to send my son off to a program that condones and rewards that behavior". Heck lets say you're ok with the covering up for his abusive coaches and the public grinding women who are NOT his wife etc - would you knowingly send your son off to be coached by a man that verbally and physically assaulted grown men on a professional fb team? Why would stop him from doing the same to your son? So many posts about Mickey have been about how he is taking accountability for this team right now not tossing his coaches or his players under the bus ... did you see the Jaguars press conferences and how Meyer behaved? Would you want to run through a wall for that guy only to have him make snide and comments about you in public? Urban Meyer is an older, Scott Frost with just more successful years on his resume. He comes with all of Scotts issues AND the public spectacle. Past behavior is indicative of future behavior, and haven't we had enough of the frat parties and lack of focus and morals on this team?
