      Car stolen - check (actually watched the guy drive it down the street at 3am, called the cops and they told me because I had no proof of ownership (title was in the glovebox) they could do nothing til it was found.  And it was, a week later totally gutted.  It had been mine for a total of 78 hours.  And no, it wasn't a Saturn.

       

      But the worst I think was being robbed at gunpoint.  In Texas, long story short - the took everything including man handling me to take jewelry off fingers etc) and they ended up shooting at us as they drove away.

       

      Actually I was more scared when a group of men in Morocco took my passport in order to "help" me get on the boat back to spain, and then demanded money - but the gunshot thing is pretty dramatic.

    Only going after the bad hombres, right? Actually... nope. These are asylum seekers from Central America, not undocumented immagrants. This is amoral and we can't turn a blind eye to it. ICE didn't give a crap about these people.

      Can we have one discussion without someone trying to distract from this administrations' action by saying, "but what about?"  It's a lazy response.  If you can't call balls and strikes you shouldn't be chatting here.  One wrong doesn't' make a right.  Every president likely has pardon's that were in the gray.  Nothing as offensive as this.  Read about the guy's history in addition to this constitutional conviction.

    Just wanted to let everyone know that my dog passed away at the vet at 6:20. The way the tumor attacked his body in such a short time is astonishing and depressing. Such a good dog taken so soon

    Is the Ole Miss job a coveted gig? The paycheck is, we know that. But for a school with a ton of talent around it and nice weather and campus, is it a highly thought of job like an LSU?
