  1. Perhaps we should just ask the officials to make every down third down? Well I think part of the reason for that is we get to 3rd and 3 pretty often
  2. It was probably scripted as such. And that was a good playcall and throw--just a better defensive play. He threw into coverage and started d0wn his receiver the entire time. it was a quick slant?
  3. he just did that to be the one person who was right if we win
  4. Well it's time for TA to step up and have the game of his career. Need OC to have exceptional play calling to his strengths. Time to hit some yard plays, stretch the field, and make plays. Win or lose leave it all on the field. GBR They have been play calling to his strengths, the problem is his weakness is between his ears. Plays are executed perfectly with the exception at the QB position. That is what makes TA so frustrating, all the talent in the world, most of it wasted because he isn't a very smart QB. You also forgetting his penance for throwing off his back foot at times for no reason. As the season goes on, this happens more and more I've been seeing This is the number one problem in my opinion. Tommy doing the MJ fadeaway causes him to clearly miss throws he could make in his sleep if he just put his weight on that front foot
  5. I'm in Tommy's hometown of Gulfport tonight. Getting the Mississippi mojo going, Tommy will go OFF tonight
  6. If we can pull off a victory today, alot has happened that benefits us
  7. don't want that. Would love an injury free game on both sides
  8. We have to get the ball out quickly on pass plays. OSU has some ballers rushing the passer
  9. Urban Meyer was a color analyst for ESPN that game and thought it was the coolest play ever. He went on and on about how great that play was. This play is the sole reason Beck is Ohio States OCHas nothing to do with the fact that Beck shredded Michigan state's defense, which is a division rival of osu Perhaps, but that same defense shut him down until a Pierson el punt nearly brought us back into the game in 2014. All the other years they stiffled our offenses consistently. Those first years we joined the BIG 10 we had the drop on people and Beck took full advantage. Once they got some tape on how we attacked them on Offense even Minnesota could force us to go 3 and out consistently. And oh boy northwestern had our number until 2014 In addition, my comment was a joke if that wasn't already obvious
  10. No small feat even with the athletes he has around him
  11. It has a great look to it and informative I really like it! Only thing I might add is a little information about the Lincoln area as well but not necessary you did a great job

  13. Again we have 4 guys signed over the next 2 years and that number will probably go up 1 or 2. We need some NE talent and I understand it is easier to acclimate if you are from NE as opposed to say CA but in reality if we are getting quality guys I don't care where they are from. You did say a similar sentiment in the OP but i think we should have faith this staff is pulling in the type of guys who will meet or exceed the talent and production we could get out of guys in state
  14. Bump in competition will do that I reckon. Plus injuries really hurt our production. The 4.4 per play against Wisky was Riley's lowest since taking the helm...... very interesting statistic. I don't know what the average is but if I had to guess 4.4 yards per play as your worst offensive performance is a good thing. Again I don't know what is considered good and bad in this statistic but 4.4 yards per play does not seem terrible at all to me. I learned we can win big if we had a passing threat. I think against OSU we have to get Tommy as many easy completions as possible early as Mav has talked about. It's critical. Give Tommy as little chance to fail as possible for the first 10 throws. If we can hit 7 of those easy throws that will set Tommy up to be more successful later on when we have to ask more of him because the confidence will be there. Got to get him moving forward more on rollout to prevent those fadeaway throws he makes that lead to incompletions or worse every time.
  15. It's not random. Better teams have a better chance to get deeper in the tourney plain and simple. You do get your Cinderellas, but to say it's random is just simply not true
  16. I got it. 4 conferences 48 teams. 12 teams in each conference and each conference runs a round robin schedule of 11 games. All of the conference champions then are entered into a round robin (gold pool), runner ups will play each other (silver pool), every 3rd place is pooled together and down on the line and even the worst teams from each conference are entered into a round Robin. Wouldn't solve much but might be fun
  17. in combination we definitely win but if we get that play from Tommy we will have a chance regardless
  18. "If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish or ulterior motives...be kind anyway" ~ Mother Theresa I'm not accusing anyone of doing this but there has been alot of media surrounding it all season and it can come off that way. I don't think OSU is doing this for any other reason than to show their condolences
