Kinda has the feeling the staff wants Martinez to take control but he isn't. Gebbia is the guy who is gonna win you games by not losing them with tons of mistakes. Luckily for Gebbia the QB run game in this offense is based off opportunity not the super running ability of the Qb. From the few games I caught last year the Qb runs where mostly at times when they were set up with other plays.

Iirc one of the main reasons for the renovation is to get the weight room back to the way it was... not so much update it. Think I remember reading that equipment that Nebraska had helped develope is now gone. I think it's weird that there are machines that lots of Johnnys and Joes have used in gyms across the country that relate very well to football are no longer being used in the very place they were conceived. Maybe they are just trying to get back to their roots.

I don't share the same fear of this schedule as everyone else. Especially the games everyone is penciling in as L's. Ohio state is about to be without their head coach, Penn State lost their best offensive weapon, Michigan is still Michigan and can lose to anybody. Yes Minny took us to the woodshed last year but our coaches were out coached and there was lack of effort on the field. Wisconsin has our number but by no means is unbeatable. If the defense improves by 10% that could equate to more wins. I'm pretty sure you will see the offense improve quite a bit which in turn will take some of the pressure off the defense
