I think a lot of people always ignore this fact. Compare our two 500 mile radii. Penn st includes All of PA (obviously), NY, VA, MA, MD, WV, OH, NC, MI and most of IN, SC, KY and part of Tenn. If you compare all those states talent produced it will outscore the states in Nebraska's 500 mile radius. Guess where Trace mcsorley and Barkley are from. Within that radius. They have about 10 kids outside their 500 miles, 4 are from GA, 2 from FL, 1 from Wisconsin, 1 from IL and 1 from Nevada. Beside Nevada and maybe Wisconsin those states produce more talent as well.

Made this same comment somewhere else... if he's even he's leavin'. You would think Jackson would be better at this technique because he played safety in HS. He should be used to lining up 10 yards off the ball and staying over the top.... but he's not

The problem is we have too many weak links in the defense. Both corners are not playing very well.. the LBs beside Gifford are not impressive and kinda slow. D line is looking better depending on what line up is in. The safeties I think are actually the bright spot considering what they have to do. If we could get some corners that can cover AND tackle we would be in business.. ball skills would also be nice

I'm willing to bet if you asked the defense which back they would want to tackle their answer wouldn't be OZ. I don't think we really Have a break away back so if I'm gonna play someone it's gonna be the guy who makes Dbs and lbs creep up and think about the hit they are going to have to make to bring him down. It helps the passing game as well

Wisconsin are not world beaters. The team has continued to improve and I think they want to save their coaches job. I think it will be one of those games where it comes together and everyone plays lights out...... then they next week will be the let down

They are both main reasons he is getting fired... Maybe he is done being friends with them

They should probably know if Riley gets fired he is probably retiring anyway so it's not like hee gonna bring them to the next place. I tell guys that work for me that I will go to bat for them as much as possible but if they screw up and it's between me and them.. it's going to be them. It's a cutthroat business. I just used career as a general term since he is now in his second year and I don't know exactly how many games he has played in. The original statement said it was his best game as a Cornhusker. My point was that in all the games leading up to last week he hasn't played particularly well

I didn't say give up on him but the team has a corner that is better than him that is playing safety and another corner that is better than him that is coming back from injury. And they are both upperclassmen

Maybe Lee will hit his hand on someone's helmet attempting a pass while under heavy pressure. Maybe said hand will swell up and not allow him to grip the ball...maybe he will have to come out and the coaches will be forced to play someone else.... anyone else

That might be true but he hasn't played well for most of his career.

Have we seen that much improvement if any with our rec since KW got here?? I feel like our blocking has gotten worse and we still have problems with too many drops.

Most times corners are probs watching the QB/Looking in the backfield for their first few steps unless they are pressing

I think wait and see what happens on D. If they really start to play well maybe you extend them for a year and tell them they better recruit their asses off. I would say keep Parella if they are going for the hometown saviors vibe
