  1. I don't really view Florida as the "south". I know they are south but like they are their own thing. like Georgia and Alabama are south but Florida is some sort of bastard.
  2. do kohls 5* kickers still count as a 5*? if so sign him up
  3. As someone who grew up in IN and was told his entire life IN is the midwest its hard to say Northeast. I immediately think of PA and east and up. Doesn't matter now that I live in the south and everyone says I'm a yankee. I f#&%ing hate the Yankees and that term so I tend to say I'm from the midwest and they seem not to associate the midwest with the term yankee.
  4. Indiana doesn't bring in solid athletics money? Nebraska brought in about $136 mil in 2019. Indiana brought in about $128 mil in 2019. I'm willing to bet that number will jump significantly if Mike Woodson gets the basketball team competing again.
  5. I agree. I just feel if its close they would go with Sichterman. He's a 5th year senior, stuck it out, done all that's asked of him... blah blah blah. Kinda feel like they want hat feel good story.
  6. Probably have to sort that out in camp. But my gut says it will be Sichterman. They seemed to pump him up a bit in the spring
  7. hope if its 16 teams they change the name to the Sweet 16
  8. 2 game winning streak against texas and Maryland is a little cocky lol. I had to look it up the last time they played was 2018
  9. updates. Scott Frost likes the Alberts hire, he feels Adrian is the most ready he has been, Omar Manning is locked in, Stepp is almost 100%, Haven't earned the respect of the conference, its the most excited he's been about a team (at Nebraska), He's never thrown a football 30 yards. updates. 10. Luke Reimer, yikes! but man can he hit.
  11. I think I've only been to 3 games in Memorial Stadium. Did people complain this much about comfort in the 70's, 80's and 90's when more games were being won?
  12. ND doesn't really add much recruiting ground. Nebraska already plays two schools in IN. You would want a foot hold in the Fort Wayne area but most of the top talent there usually ends up at Mich or OSU.
  13. Did anyone have a good game? I just remember everyone looking like deer in headlights. No enthusiasm. Like there was a team party the night before and everyone was on the struggle bus
  14. I'ld add Wake Forrest. Could probably chalk that one up as a win on the football field.
  15. always irritated me when snooty people would brag about tickets on 50 yard line. I figure from the end zone that's how I saw it when I played so it more comfortable to me. I can see the holes open up, angles being taken. Only knock is that sometime I have a hard time seeing how many yards were gained or lost (on shorter plays) but that's what score boards are for..
  16. am I the only one who would rather watch a game from the end zone seats so you can watch plays develop?
  17. Maybe its time to change the mascot. something that says "big city!" Nebraska: skyscrapers, bathroom attendants, skyline, crime bosses.
  18. Haven't been to a game in 5 yrs after moving to NC.
  19. I'm not a huge person but I have definitely been uncomfortable in Wrigley's bleachers. Usually stop caring after my 8th beer tho. Most of the times I have sat in the bleaches they were completely packed. I guess their stadium seats aren't that bad. My uncle had season tickets for the Bears so I've seen plenty of games in Soldier Field. I personally feel at least in the south end zone the seats don't offer much space. In reality I don't really care all that much. I'm willing to be slightly uncomfortable while watching my favorite sport just in case something amazing happens so one day I can tell someone "hey, I was there when that happened".
  20. I meant more of solid contributor to decent d lineman. not jump off the screen play maker
  21. watched Rex Grossman play in the state championship his senior year. Best HS qb i've seen in person. Watched Antwaan Randle El play in the old oaken bucket against Purdue and got to work out with him when he were in the NFL. I would say Antwaan was deserving of a Heisman. He just played on a s#!tty team. Rex was a SO and they weren't handing it out to the young guys back then. Of course Freeney and Peppers were playing on the wrong side of the ball.
