  1. Could be that Oz has really improved a lot this year. The Oz from last year would not have fit well in this offense imo. Held mentioned that he was making cuts more quickly. While he doesn't have the speed if he can hit the hole faster that could open up some big runs. If Bryant was healthy I bet Oz would be further down the list.
  2. How badly is Aaron Williams injury slowing him down? If 100% he would start, but not sure he is.
  3. QB, our best options are two inexperienced freshman. They both have talent, but are both likely to make quite a few mistakes and be slower to make decisions than Frost would like.
  4. If Frost were still at UCF what do you think they would be ranked this year? Top 10?
  5. Had to give you a +1 for the passing part. I'm also very glad that he doesn't pass like Tmart.
  6. Fast, with good acceleration. His running kinda reminds me of Tmart. He puts a nice touch on his passes. Doesn't appear to have a very strong arm, but he is only a Sophomore so that could change.
  7. I was surprised by how impressive he looks in the highlights, can't wait to see him play.
  8. I think the DL has a lot of potential; could be one of our strongest groups. But they need to live up to that potential especially with the concerns about our secondary.
  9. I like our chances against those teams, but you never know.
  10. I'm all for it, get the best linemen on the field (Wilson at guard?) And develop some good depth. Could start at center or guard or could backup either position. Creates some flexibility.
  11. Is there any way this loss helps? If we move to the 5 seed in the Big 10 Tourney and then win two games in the tourney versus being a four seed and only winning one tourney game? Would that help out? Just trying to find a silver lining. Also realize we will have to win out the rest of the season and win at least a couple conference tourney games.
  12. Running back by committee. Lots of them getting touches and in various roles. Bell gets the most touches followed by Bryant if he is healthy. That would be my naive guess. Wilbon, Washington, and Bradley fighting for playing time behind them with Oz fitting the big back roll. Miles backs up Spielman as a WR who sometimes lines up as a running back. By the time we get to our first game all my predictions will be off and I will have new ones
  13. Many people have defended both William's and Bray as well. Hard to say which position coaches are good or bad when both coordinators did such a poor job. On defense in particular the info about Diaco really makes it impossible to determine anything about the position coaches.
  14. It's really hard to pick the top six and the sleeper. There's too many players that I like. It's usually not this difficult. Lots of potentially explosive players. Hopefully many of them live up to their potential.
  15. Another Garrett, might as well Mark him down as N.
  16. Martinez, Bell, Washington, Tannor, Miles Jones, Watts
  17. Not highly ranked, but I am always interested in offensive linemen with wrestling or basketball pedigrees and he has both. If you're going to reach on somebody go with the athlete that knows how to use leverage to his advantage.
  18. I used to herd cattle, but haven't heard anything about whether this recruit has.
  19. We needed a corner and we got a tall lanky one with lots of upside. Like just about all players coming out of high school he needs to develop. His ultimate success will depend on his passion for the game and the coaching staff. Hopefully he works hard and we get to see him play on Saturdays.
  20. BTW met Clouse's father about a year ago. Was wearing some Husker gear and he introduced himself.
  21. This whole time I thought we hired Ruud, but Rudd makes sense now. It's part of the whole fun atmosphere that Frost has mentioned!
