Wish the kid the best. It's been a pretty tough road for him with the lost season due to injury, the coaching change, and seeing friends leaving. Hope he can find a little bit of feel good before his college career is over. GBR

Seems simple as he is already a Husker Fan. He is ours to lose. We show up this fall and show progress and he signs here. We fail to show progress this fall, we take a real chance at losing him... and several other great recruits we are after.

I may be way off base for thinking this? If we get to hold our spring practices this summer, this virus may actually have benefited our team. All the players who don't arrive until summer will be able to participate, and everything will be fresh instead of having the several month layoff. Of course this could benefit other teams as well but many of them held more practices than we did earlier this spring so they have fewer remaining.

"but I'm pretty sure" none of us have a clue. Blind speculation doesn't do anyone any good. The media is feasting on this thing and frankly it ticks me off. Everyone please consider where you get your news before hitting the panic button.

Not at all but I do believe he can return to form this coming season and, with maturity and experience, reduce turnovers and increase scoring. I understand where you are coming from regarding stats. I'm looking at what his raw play making ability could lead to. No clue if it will happen but I do think there is a good possibility we see a vastly improved performance from him this year.

He was far from average his freshman year while healthy and got all the hype for plays like these that seemed to happen every game. I understand why people are down on him. Last year wasn't great and we didn't see near enough of this type of play. The reality is that since we did see this his freshman year, we all know he is capable of these type of plays. It's only natural to think that with a better supporting cast, a healthy body, and another year of knowledge, we will start to see this type of play return. If not, by all means we should move on at whatever point Frost see's a better option. I still don't believe we should discount what the kid did in the past though. GBR

25 years? I think we had multiple rivalries in the mid 90s. Most fans I know hung on to some of those through the 2000s. The last 10 years however it hasn't felt like we have anyone. Wisconsin has been the closest to me and hopefully some day it can be built up into a great rivalry. Iowa on the other hand has simply highlighted how far we have fallen... Husker fans know they aren't in our league historically or where we intend to go. GBR

I have never understood how so many people take the time to publicly be unhappy on a regular basis... It feels like we lost a game last week reading this thread. I am optimistic for next season and actually excited to see a little depth. Tough schedule or not, it should feel different having backups that can play. GBR

The sad reality I have come to is we don't really have a current rival. We have a few teams some fans care a little more about but nobody on our schedule gets the blood boiling. Hopefully some day soon that changes.

You do realize the Big 10 makes over 100 million more revenue yearly than the SEC, right? The Big 10 leads all conferences by a large margin.

The videos are targeting a younger generation than you represent... My 21 year old son thinks they are cool. The high school kids really like them. I can understand how...more mature? people may think they are a waste.
