Crusader Husker

A lot of people think he sucks. (I am occasionally one of those people) Some people would rather be right than be wrong and he gets better. I would rather be wrong and he is first team All-B1G. In the end, i want our guys to be the best. AM is a little better than last year. He still needs to improve to be where he needs to be.

While I get upset with the turnovers, it is hard to hammer on AM until the OL gets much better. Of course the long run was thanks to one of the linemen watching his guy run by him to AM, AM dodged him and ran.

Things I have learned Our D might be legit great! Our OL is the exact opposite of that! Our coach seems to whine a lot at officials. It doesn't matter that they deserve it or not. Maybe he should put that energy into fixing our offensive run woes. This is a good win, because it is a win. They do happen often here.

Honestly wouldn't be shocked with a loss. Not calling for one, just wouldn't be shocked. I will be driving on I-90 through Buffalo during the game. I will yell at people driving through town.

Just grab someone out of the student section who isn't completely drunk. Probably not much of a difference.

My experience has been if you are in a red solo cup and not being stupid, you are fine. Found this to be true on campus lots too.

Just so you know, my thoughts are about us. We have looked the same for the last few years. Very Unspecial teams, lack luster O with no consistency, a staff that doesn't seem engaged at times, not able to make adjustments during games, mistake prone play, and an OL that doesn't seem to be very tough. But hey, D looks better I am not really concerned about anyone else. Past performance tells us it doesn't matter how bad a team looks week in and week out. They tend to look great against us. Until that changes, predicting how we will do seems to be easy.

Life is tough for a lot of kids. They sometimes make dumb mistakes and have no guidance or mentoring. I truly hope that the kid has straightened his life out and can work on doing great things from here on out.

We were doomed before that game was played. We are a rudderless boat floating in the storm called the B1G.

Sad days when I am jealous of Minnesota. They have so much that we don't.

I coach with someone retired military. He told me he can always salute. Not sure if that is it not.

It has a ways to go to improve. Parts of the cities have been revitalized, other parts have not. At least the river doesn't start on fire anymore.

I learned this morning, I live in the Cleveland, OH area, that people no longer give me crap about losses. They now feel sorry for me. We are pathetic....

I am calm, I am calm because there is exactly zero to get excited about. The sellout streak will be over, I am pretty calm about it. We may be the worst team in the West, still calm. I was not angry, mad, or disappointed, after yesterday's game; I was clam. I am waiting for the day that I am not calm, but excited again.

I am happy I have a son playing CFB and that I am coaching HS FB again. I won't be able to watch much of this mess. Anybody still thinking Frost is the answer aren't just wearing Husker rose colored glasses, they are just blind. Hello 5-7

This feels too much like the kids that didn't get dates to the prom getting together and going in a big group. Then talking one of the bus drivers into dropping them off at the dance in the school bus.

So, there are going to say we all like each other a lot. I we are going to meet at the local burger place for shakes on Friday night and hang out? Cool....
